Re: does you play style/character reflect your real personal
I do this frequently with almost every RPG I play. I usually play as an idealized version of myself, with smarts, wit and charm, with an incredible beard to boot. I've always wanted to be an overly comical, lovable hero who always does what's right, and TES V let's me do that, along with the rest of the series.

I just find it more interesting / more fun to sneak through a dungeon and sneak attack the enemy rather than charge in as a warrior/mage and have to just slaughter everyone. (Thats the original reason I got bored of Oblivion, I played as a barbarian and every dungeon felt the same).
I help out everyone, and I think I generally do right but I steal all the time, and I do like to kill people. There have been Dark Brotherhood contracts I didn't want to do but its just fleeting regret. And if someone wants them dead then someone wants them dead...
Quite generally I agree, but I have some polarities in my character, I like to be able to do melee damage when I find myself in bewilderment or I am MAD. It’s not always possible to surprise everyone, although I'd like to. About half the time I like happy surprises of death. I try sometimes to be all good or do something different perhaps there is more of a rush with being 'sneaky' of course some of the best nightmares are the ones that play 'pop up' and 'you see me and now you don't or did you see me?' Most similarly though is my fondness of kitty's in general they are just so cute makes me want to squeeze the life out of them and then wear their cute little face around town as a hat....maybe.

Re: does you play style/character reflect your real personal
My characters always ends up as a Man with no Name anti-hero who just happens to be on different sides of the coin for different reasons, main character always comes to term with power they're given and then must commit themselves to it in order to do good, but also for the perks such as semi-godhood/higher political standing, etc.
The each guild char has their own reasons, Companions wanted to go to Sovngarde and the glory or battle, etc (Typical Nord, glory through battle type dude) College char wants to be a powerful wizard so he can undue all the injustices that has happened to Morrowind (Dunmer) and kick out the Lizards. When I make a theif/assassin char I let you know how they will be.

My first character is my Breton spellsword who is me in Tamriel. After that, things are open to extrapolation.

At the entrance a Fish Speaker stooped and whispered to another: <<God is upset?>>
Her companion replied: <<The sins of the world is likely to disturb even a god.>>
Leto listened them and wept silently.

Re: does you play style/character reflect your real personal
Usually I find it more fun to create my character's personality and base his/her actions upon it, i.e. one could be a cold, aloof dunmer, and another could be an energetic, fight-to-the-death redguard.

I look askance at thee, for "Breton Spellsword" pretty much means "Badass Nerd" in Elder Scrolls RPGs.Gideon Dragontongue wrote:My first character is my Breton spellsword who is me in Tamriel. After that, things are open to extrapolation.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

I'm always the good guy, but I do steal from time to time (I don't do it in real life) because I just like testing my skills. I won't ever blatantly murder someone, give a good enough reason (From theft to murder to narcissism) and they are dead already.

If I played a character like in real life, I'd be a nerdy Breton Alchemist.

Not really.
I just create a character and from there I shape his/her personality. I have a chaotic good character and a neutral evil character, for example.
