So you're saying that you're too lazy to sit down in front of your computer and look at words? :P

I think I'll make a human character. Perhaps I'll bring good ol' Lucien Guerrier back over here.

Err... what is the result of mixed relationships, as in do you get a half-elf, or does it follow the mother's species like TES, or is one race's DNA dominant like in Dragon Age?

It follows the mother's species, though it retains some features of the father (ex: skin/eye color, hair color, height, etc.)

Where is Empire City on the continent... I'm guessing fairly centrally placed, but it has remained unsaid...

You're just full of questions, eh? :)

Empire City is located on the far western coast.

How will we refer to weapons, will we:
Make em up,
Use real-world parallels,
Refer to them vaguely, as in 'Bolt-Action rifle' Instead of 'Enfield'.

Real world parallels. Some people on here don't know gun terms like "bolt-action rifle" or "semi-auto pistol". And inventing guns takes too much time and work.

I'd sacrifice myself but...I mainly joined to see how an elf would play out in a setting like this.

I've an easy nickname planned for Lithnilillin. I did consider adding a quirk to his personality that would make him furious were someone to pronounce his name wrong...but I scrapped it.

I believe it is time to post the laws of the Occupied States of Andia. New laws may be added in the future.

Code: Select all

-Attacking and/or resisting Immortal Commission Army soldiers/government-aligned individuals is illegal.

-Creation of loud noise is illegal.

-Possession of any weapon of any form is illegal.

-Retiring before night curfew (11:00 PM) or sleeping through morning curfew (4:00 AM) is illegal. In addition, staying up past night curfew or waking up before morning curfew is considered illegal.

-It is required by law that ten separate prayers deticated to each individual member of the Immortal Commission are said each day.

-Sexual activity of any kind is illegal.

-Possession of pets is illegal.

-Possession of automobiles is illegal.

-Trespassing on any restricted areas without permission is illegal.

-Eating during all hours between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM is illegal.

-Possession of over 10 articles of clothing is illegal.

-Refusal to work is illegal.

-Speaking against authority is illegal.

-Disrupting the peace is illegal.

-Hugging, kissing, and all other forms of affection between 2 or more people are illegal.

-Taking more than a 5-second break from work is illegal.

The breaking of any listed law above is punishable by death. Punishment will be enacted quickly and without mercy. These laws do not apply to Immortal Commission Army soldiers or government-aligned individuals.
