Re: Daedric Princes
Well it's been shown that the bipedal human form is the most ergonomic and efficient evolution of life. I'm just curious as to why Mr. Forest would choose to live otherwise.

Re: Daedric Princes
Because the developers of Daggerfall were too drunk (and possibly high) to come up with something worse?

Re: Daedric Princes
I think he's the most mysterious Daedra, or at least the one that people know the least about. Perhaps he's just trying to keep up with that image. But being a man of knowledge who dwells in forests he really should have a checked jacket, long hair, a massive beard and possibly a hat of some sort.

Re: Daedric Princes
Maybe he's (rightly so) arrogant because he contains more knowledge than any mere mortal, so he chose a form that wasn't based off of any mortal creature?

Possibly... But he doesn't seem arrogant to me... Although he does contain more knowledge then most IMMORTALS...mptrj wrote:Maybe he's (rightly so) arrogant because he contains more knowledge than any mere mortal, so he chose a form that wasn't based off of any mortal creature?

Re: Daedric Princes
This Daedra needs to exist... if in TES 5 they decide to introduce a new Daedra that had never been mentioned anywhere before like Jyggalag - this is the one. They can call him Dave or something. There aren't enough Daedric Princes with bloke's names.kertaw48 wrote:And constantly saing "Man!" or "Dude!"...r wrote:I think he's the most mysterious Daedra, or at least the one that people know the least about. Re: Daedric Princes
However other Daedra didn't like Keith or his normal name so they turned him into Jyggalag...
He was also not liked so they turned him into everybody's favorite Sheo...
But how did Keith come to existence?

Re: Daedric Princes
Keith always existed.
Introducing a new Daedra would be a cheesy TV-esque move to keep the series fresh. I'm sure that Bethesda love ES games enough not to start doing things like that.

Actually, Jyggalag was mentioned prior to SI, in the Dagerfall book "On Oblivion"...r wrote:Quotes 'n stuff, mention of new guy

Oh, I didn't know that book was from Daggerfall but I do remeber it from Morrowind...
Is it still in Oblivion?
Because then a lot of people should be ashamed...

I think we're all forgetting about the long forgotten, short-lived reign of the Deadric prince Flatulus Maximus!

Re: Daedric Princes
oh course Daedra are not sex-specific. The only thing that makes mortals male or female is a few body parts wich change mood/personality. If the Daedra are turely deities then they are spiritual beings and have none of these.
It is likely that each Daedra appears as eather male or female based on their character in order to better 'sell' themselves to the mortal world
