I started planning a project that includes colouring milk green, blue and red.

All I can think of is Star Wars, and that only covers blue. What the hell are you doing?

Well, it's working. All I can think about is an odd-coloured suspension of fatty solids in water.

Cravendale is the only milk I'm aware of that doesn't come in see-through bottles and is therefore easy to dye a stupid colour without anyone noticing. As I found out a few years ago, when you live with someone who is pretty much always stoned this becomes absolutely hilarious. I'll never forget the look on his face the first time he poured blue milk all over his Frosties.

Holy crap! How fragmented was your system? Unless you were using Windows 98. I have bad memories of that sometimes taking two days.Newsound wrote:I have done nothing all day but wait for my entire system to Defragment . took 9 hours!!!
Oh, and I just so happened to pwn everyone at shooting today with my 95 points. That almost never happens. It might have been because I had the only working rifle, now that I think about it.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
At work we invented a game called 'Nut And Bolt Sweepstakes' which keeps us entertained for literally seconds.
There are some quite large discrepancies between how many bolts we apparently have and how many we actually have, chiefly because the mechanics, instead of coming into the shop and doing all the paperwork for them, just slip a handful into their pockets and get back to work. So, every time we find a box of nuts or bolts with only 3 or 4 in it, we type the part number into the computer, and just before whoever does it hits Enter, everyone in the vicinity has to hazard a guess as to how many we are supposed to have, the one who guesses the closest obviously winning.
The best example is when I glanced in a box which contained 2 bolts which we are supposed to have over 400 of.

Wow rough night... I didn't know that a cat could be so.. well.. annoying. They're still cute thoughLeilah wrote:Woke up at 1:30 due to cat on bed. Woke up again at 4:00 due to smell of cat pee on bed. Threw cat off bed.. Cleaned up, attempted to get back to sleep. Woken at 5-minute intervals by cat who was apparently a) bored and b) hungry. Fed cat at 5:00. Was allowed to sleep until 5:30, when cat decided to jump on bed again. Kept on being woken at 5-minute intervals until about 6:00 (which is 15 minutes before I need to get up). Now that I'm up, dressed and fully awake, cat is peacefully asleep.
I have a dog and he whined/howled a lot when we just bought him (and took him away from his mother and brothers/sisters). But after a few days it ended and now he's happy. I hope

Yeah, he can be horribly annoying but the rest of the time he's so sweet that I quickly forget what a terror he is at night.Josjie wrote:Wow rough night... Our dog whined so much when we first got him that he had to sleep on my brother's bed for the first few nights, but that ended when my brother stepped off the bed and into dog poop. Dogs appear to adjust more easily than cats in gerneral, though.
Ontopic: Slept much better last night, cat mewed at door at 3:30, so I let him in, fed him and went back to sleep. Woke up at 6:15 with cat peacefully purring behind my back. Then I had coffee, read a bit, took a shower and now I'm here. Rest of the day will be spent studying, fetching my brother from school and making lucnh and dinner, since my mom is in bed with backpain.

Today I went out with my friends, and we ate pizza, talked about random things and did an extremely interesting psychological test about a horse, a forest, a desert, a bucket of water, a sea, a wall and a key
It was all the more funny because the girl who conducted it was a bit in the Reynald Jemane state

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
I had my first GCSE today - French Speaking. It went well, until I accidentally described my school's uniform as 'dangereuse'. Oh well. From what the teacher was writing down, I think I got pretty high marks. Now it's just Russian speaking next week and I'm done. Pity it's going to be my hardest exam.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Dostoevsky? Damn... We did 'Little Red Riding Hood' (or красная шапочка if you will) and the depressing thing was that it was so much harder than anything I ever encountered in my exams.
