"I am Rashmi." Rashmi said to the people in the schoolhouse. "We're working for Councilman Taye--we're looking for Councilwoman Vaughan, to get her out of the city. We can help the rest of you, too--the sewers run through much of the city, and an entrance nearby leads to part of the city that we yet control. I can heal any wounds you may have, and we can protect you, for a time. Will you come out, or at least, let us in?"

"Don't tell me - you're Taliesin's Shade Unit?" A new female voice spoke up. "Ari? Herren? Saila? Are you out there?" She asked, referring to the old Unit that had died in the initial attack.

Sakhr looked at his comrades. "Ah, well, whose turn is it to be the messenger of death?" he asked flippantly.
