Rough Seas Redux: A Tale of Pirates and More!

[Crepe the Ashlander]

Whilst his fellow Captains discussed the objective at hand, and the wine, Elias simply stared at the Governor and occasionally back to the food, wondering what he should eat. His First-Mate was not as thoughtful and almost immediately picked up some bread and butter that was on the table and threw it down his throat.

[Archer]

The Docks
"Excellent." The Harbormaster nodded before heading back to his office. The pirates that were around the group started to disperse, some went to clean up the bodies while others stayed by Matthew's ship, to guard it supposedly. It seemed the group was free to do as they pleased, at least until sundown.

Leo
The card was definitely a warning. A dire one at that.

Don Leon
Don made the jump with ease and was free to do as he pleased. Having arrived with the other pirates, he was not under scrutiny nor was he suspected of anything.

Sally
Jack put his pistol down, and with a quick "Sorry." followed after the Harbormaster. A group of the Harbormaster's lackeys soon had discerned which ship was Sally's and had locked it up tighter than a miser's purse.

The British
"The best red wine I could obtain." Hamilton said simply, not really going into much detail. "I know, it is an odd request, but the order must be accomplished. Higher powers than I have demanded it, but feel free to stay for a while longer, though you don't have to." he spoke mostly to Allen, but to the rest of the captains and first mates as well.

"You're not staying on my ship," Matthew said simply to the pirates coming aboard, "We'll do what he said, but you aren't staying in my boat."

"They're are not stepping foot on the [&@%!] unless they have a death wish." Sally said to the harbourmaster as he left. "[&@%!] off. If our paths cross again, I will kill you." She told Jack before making her way towards her ship after picking up the flintlock.

"I think he means it's a bit ambiguous as to how many innocents are inhabiting Nassau." Allen looked at Francis blankly, before continuing. "That being said, orders are orders, blood is blood."

Don Leon recovered his jump nicely, and with haste he scampered over to his desire like a drunk sparrow. He had an aura of self confidence and peace around him, even as a pirate he seemed more cheery than most. He finally caught in his strife and stopped before the lady, going down on one knee and bowed like a gentleman "Maidam, may I say my eyes have never set themselves on something so sweet and lush across this blue sea" He said in a romantic tone, all directed at none other than Sally

Sally was caught off guard by the man that had just complimented her and said "Well, this is a surprise. A true gentlemen in this [&@%!] pit of a town." She looked down at the man and said "But you are wasting your time. We don't know each other and i'm not looking for a tussle in the bushes. However, thank you, Mister?" She smiled at him.

Matthew
"You don' have a choice in the matter." The largest of the pirates said simply as he leaned up against the rail of The Lady Lucine like it was his own.

Sally and Don Leon
Sally and Don soon arrived at Sally's ship, only to find it crawling with Jack's pirates. It seemed they had forced her own crew off the ship until morning because several of her crew gave the pirates looks of disgust before walking off.

British
"Exactly." Hamilton nodded, agreeing with Allen. "But, if you will excuse me, I have other matters to attend to. Feel free to stay and chat amongst yourselves, or you can leave. It matters little in the grand scheme of things." he spoke before he stood and walked back to his manor.

"[&@%!]!" Sally said in an angry tone as she observed Jack's pirates. "That's my ship. The Dark [&@%!]." She told Don Leon as she pointed it out to him.

"I'll be on my ship if there is any reason I'm needed, one final point, will we all be setting off for Nassau together?" said Avery, standing up

"Get of my boat," Matthew said, "Or do we have to come to a disagreement?"

"Such a shame that aggression is so prone..." Don Leon said, but followed up by some optimistic words to alternate the mood "Such a lovely ship, the craftsmanship, the sails, ah how the sea must bless such a vessel!" His hands could not help but make gestures as he spoke, showing just how passionate of a man he truly was

"She's a beauty." Sally told Don. "And very tough. She has enough firepower to sink almost anything. Apart from anything that is a Man O War or better." She told him as she looked at her ship. "Stole her from the brits two years back and she has become a fearsome sight. Merchants know they are [&@%!] when they see her black flags. She is a capable ship. And I'm taking her back." Sally told Don.

Leonard began shuffling, flashing the others the tarot cards, showing them flipped. A detrimental effect was flipping a card, causing evil to be shown. "Sureness of stepping requires acceptance of consequence. Sure of consequence or sure of death? One may say they are same and different. Twins and strangers." He grinned at the pirates, eying them over.

[Archer]

The Lady Lucine
"There is no disagreement. Now, I think you should take the time to look around Nassau, eh? Seeing as you won't get another chance." The pirate said to Matthew, while the other pirates on board only looked at Leo confusedly. "Crazy as a loon..." he could hear them say amongst themselves.

The British
It would be a 3-4 day journey, depending on whether they suffered any setbacks.

Sally and Don Leon
Their conversation was interrupted by a group of Jack's pirates who had noticed them standing there. "Hey! Keep moving! You aren't allowed back here until morning, not after the stunt you pulled." The lead pirate yelled at Sally, from her own ship no less.

"I know where everything is," Matthew said, "If anything is missing, I will hunt you all down."

[The SheoDovah]

"I know excalty what is in my cabin. And the crew knows what we have onboard. If anything goes missing, we will kill you." Sally threatened the pirate. "Let's find the man with the odd bloke." She told Don. "By the way, where's your ship?" She asked him as she started to leave the area with him.

In spanish he uttered a small curse under his breath, too low to be heard. However he turned and faced Sally with cheer as he spoke "My ship? Yohohoho... such a magnificent ship the likes few have ever seen, with timber so strong and a sail so fine!" his hand lifted and pointed out to the open sea "She's likely at the bottom of the sea by now, yohohohohoho!" He laughed with a joy, he reached upon himself and pulled out his old violin "But no storm nor wave could ever wash away the times that we spent!" He did a quick stroke or two across his instrument, adding a musical touch to his already wise words

"Help me to take back the [&@%!] and i'll let you join my crew. I'll tell you about our code once you are part of it." Sally said to Don whilst looking for Matthew.

"Then in that case, gentlemen, I think it would be best if we were to set of now" said Avery, and turning to a servant, he said "And thank the Governor for a lovely meal, he may yet see us again"

"Agreed." Allen wiped his mouth with the provided cloth at the table, and then stood up with the other men. "Let us make haste."

"Are we even going to have ship come back to?" said Henry. He didn't trust these pirates.

"I don't either," Matthew whispered, "I say we get the lady back- tonight."
