...and diplomacy continues to fail. Their ears fall deaf, and their eyes fall blind, yet they are still not mute. They will not know their errors. Only what they believe themselves. But we... we shall not be silenced.

Alright another with two different people, i will only say yes if you get both

first:

In a certain court of a certain queen
a gale blew in the night
while a man mysterious and clever
speech his weapon he hypnotized her majesty
slipped down into the depths to retrieve havoc
and for a half a score he used his new power
and hid behind the mask of the one he stabbed quite hard in the back
and a certain hero grabbed 8 pieces
exposing the truth and freeing the betrayed

second:
powerful and swift like an eagle and its talons
came from the north, from a place where the sky meets the earth
he met at a battleground, sacred and torn, and defeated those who would not join his cause
victorious conqueror he soon became
ended the second and declared the third
living his days under a new name
a dragon from a place where there is nothing but cold
another began the beginning and eventually the end

The rules are that the person who guesses the right answer first, can make the new question... The answer has to be verified first though.
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

Corvus Umbranox and Tiber Septim
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Hromir and Tiber Septim (and if you're niggling over the difference between Tiber Septim and Talos, I'll take your head).

Anvil and Bruma have countesses but Bravil and Chedynhal and Chorrol don't have countesses?

Great answer! Chorrol does have a countess, but her husband was the hereditary ruler, so I'll totally pay that. I was actually thinking C as in 'sea' - Anvil and Bravil are on the coast, but Bruma and Chorrol and Cheydinhal are landlocked. Your go!

Ok...

This is probably quite easy but:

An artifact possesed by a secret
Murderous and bloody
Yet optimistic.

what is it?

(though I don't see how it can be optimistic)
