I could say how I feel the stormclcoks are no worse raccist then anyone else in skyrim but I'm going to let that go becuse its not worth it.

Well technically, everyone is slightly racist in Elder Scrolls. Of course they want their race to prosper.

Well i have to say almost ALL npcs in elderscrolls games are racist. Take a look at how elves treat humans and vice versa. Then the beast races are pretty much hated by everyone that isnt one in the games.

Agreed on that but I'm talkibg bout how all the nords talk about Elks, dont let the cats in etc, its full of racism, so if they are it seems weird they like the dark elfs more then anyone.

Russian and I always do the Empire, except one time for the story and roleplaying reasons I had to choose the Stormcloaks. I felt somewhat dirty after that.

That's my point: she's already the true power in Riften, making her the logical choice. I don't see why any (extra) bribery or corruption is considered to be behind her appointment. It's unfortunate she's not more respectable, but I think it's ultimately better for all groups involved that the Empire avoids social engineering and instead acknowledges the way things are.

The problem is "who else to pick?" there isnt anyone else who's loyalty is absolute.
