Villea's House
"You have not mentioned this Sen before," said Claudius. "Is he an Argonian like yourself? Why was he unable to accompany you on your journey here?"

A chuckle could not resist escaping his lips "Ah, but I have mentioned him, though not by name. To me, he is my mentor, allowing me to learn the world at my own pace but always willing to answer the questions I seek." Kelnii raised a finger "In fact, he was the one I mentioned earlier when on the topic of daedra. Wise he is, I heed his words more than any others. If he deems me unprepared, then I am.."
Kelnii then shifted the direction of his arm, pointing at his bow that prepped against the wall. The craftsmanship alone can be admired from afar, surely it is more than a well decorated wooden bow. "My bow is actually a gift from my friend, to me it holds more value than the tome fate has intrusted to me." The bow consisted mainly of wood, yet it looked more natural than carved..

Apologies for disappearing - that final paper was a doozy!
Velvet: let’s use the Oblivion ingredient effects. If you are a Dunmer/run into any Dunmer from Morrowind, they may have knowledge about Morrowind-only effects (like crushing diamonds for potions...seriously, who does that).
Epic: love the story + crazy words.
Villea’s House
Captain Darius and his sister Villea listened politely as Claudius and Kenii chatted, but it was obvious that both of their minds were elsewhere. Where, it was likely no surprise: Villea’s with her brother and her children upstairs, still fast asleep, and Darius’ with the now cold body of Potentate Ocato, finally covered with a sheet as the healer finished a long night of investigations. No one disturbed the mage and the Argonian as they chatted away.
Eventually a soldier came to the door, and Darius excused himself to speak with him in hushed tones. Villea said nothing, only nibbled at the breakfast, and when her brother turned himself back around and began retrieving his papers, she looked at him quizzically.
“It seems there is no time for idle talk,” Darius said apologetically. “I must have a word with the others and see what they have found.” He turned his attention to Claudius and Kenii. “If you wish, you may accompany me. Perhaps an outsider’s point of view would help me recognize something that I simply cannot see in this mess...and, in return, I will see to it that there is something I can do to repay you.”
Karlot’s House
“I’m flattered,” said Karlot to Grok, though it was quite apparent he was anything but. He made his way to the table, breakfast apparently foremost on his thoughts right now.
The merry little Bosmer - Faldil was his name, he informed his two closest companions at the table, which were Karona and J’Dinn - explained the menu with obvious pride: vension meat, spiced and salted enough to make the mouth water just by inhaling, apples warmed and soaked in honey, and a few slices of bread, not exactly fresh but not stale, either. Anyone who ate it found it was a rather delicious meal.
When he was finished, Karlot meandered over to his window and glanced out beyond the window box full of purple nightshade flowers, out onto the street below. He gave a thoughtful Hmmm. “I see some of the guards standing about,” he said. “I wonder what they have found...”
“I wonder who would kill Ocato,” replied Aeson, knotting his hands behind his head and leaning back in his chair. “That’s a fool’s endeavour right there.”
The Merchant’s Inn
The innkeeper looked quite amused by the little trio. “You’re welcome to help yourself to anything you’d like,” she informed them. “So long as it’s reasonable - I’ve a business to run, after all.”
The inn’s door opened - quite a curious sight, since it had been closed since the imposed curfew, and the woman looked up quickly to see a guard step inside. He observed the patrons slowly and beckoned for her to come over.
“Bother,” she mumbled to the trio, before leaving the counter and approaching the guard. They spoke in quiet tones, while the rest of those in the main room looked anxiously on.
The Tull’s Shop
“Yes, accomplishments,” tutted Mr. Tull, though he afforded no room for further discussion, since the act of eating the delicious pastry was deemed much more important than a conversation with Tauryon.
There was little else to say, and the Tulls ate in silence. Outside the window the Market District remained strangely quiet - all except for Captain Montrose from the Imperial Prisons, now patrolling through the streets with two soldiers. They were periodically stopping at doors and speaking with those within.
Mr. Tull noticed them first and gestured toward the shop’s window. “I suppose they are looking for someone,” he observed.
The Waterfront
With nothing more than a small shimmer, Acaelus vanished from view. The guards drew their swords and spun around, narrowing their eyes as they tried to discern which direction the Bosmer went. “You, forward!” said the one, as he retreated backwards over the bridge.
His spell successful, there was nothing stopping Acaelus from going to the Temple District, except for the commotion caused by the opening of doors.
When he arrived in the Temple District, he could feel his spell starting to fade. There were several options available for where to go, but the streets were empty and he would be quite easy to spot. The alleyway to his left was cast in shadow and quiet. If he followed it around the bend, it would lead to The All-Saints Inn.
The Temple of the One loomed in the center of it all; and, beyond that, the Imperial Palace.
The All-Saints Inn
Jeelius considered Secret’s question. “I cannot be certain,” he told the Wizard, “but I have a strange feeling that a path will present itself to you soon.” He lowered his eyes to the table, then gently stood. “Allow me to get us some breakfast.”
Idona did find Bard’s name most unfortunate, and she let out a small giggle before a glance from Willet sent her spinning about, disappearing into the kitchen. When she next appeared, she was carrying plates of food - a few fresh rolls, fruits, and some cheeses - which Willet offered to the guests of his inn, along with the ale he had left over. It seemed like the right thing to do, after all, even for grumpy old Willet.
“They’ll let us out of here soon, right?” asked one of the trapped citizens, without looking up.
Willet only shrugged.
Talsi’s House
Farrus and Daras had the broken door removed and, after some deliberation about what to do with a great gap in the front of his house - where was he going to find a door if he couldn’t leave the Elven Gardens, anyway? - was approached by Han-Za.
“Do not worry,” he said to Mr. Nerano. “I will have the soldiers bring you a door post haste.”
“I should hope so,” grumbled the Dunmer. He seemed more exhausted than angry, which seemed appropriate: it had been quite an agonizing day and night for him.
“What happens now?” asked Mrs. Nerano, stepping forward. “I’ve a self-righteous priest, a thief, vampires killing our friends, and a member of the Blades in my house - and the Potentate is dead. What are we going to do?”
Han-Za considered. “When tragedy strikes,” he observed, “the only company that makes sense is with strangers and old friends. It seems that you have found yours. I, however...if you are my strangers, that means we must find some old friends of mine, yes?” The Argonian turned back to the table, picking up the neatly ordered piles of papers and stuffing them into a small pouch at his hip. “But first, we must undo what the Captain has done in haste.”
The Dunmer woman frowned, crossing her arms below her breasts.
“You can come if you’d like,” Han-Za continued, glancing about at the others. “It may be the best option you have at the moment. Otherwise you are stuck here.”
Luther Broad’s Boarding House
Bernand and Myles did not have to bother asking about the scout: he was the topic of discussion for Luther Broad and one of the guests of the inn, who was a fat Khajiit with a long striped tail.
“...and he said he was a Scout in the army and had us all shooed over here,” the Khajiit was complaining to Luther. “But what kind of Scout commands the legion around like that? No, no. This one thinks there is something more.”
“Well, it is a curious set of circumstances,” Luther mused.
The Khajiit looked like he had quite the opinion about the “curious set of circumstances,” but decided against it - which was likely good. No Khajiit wanted to bad talk the Legion to an Imperial during these times.
Instead, the Khajiit said, “He went into one of the houses here. Must curious, yesss...”

Tull's Shop
Tauryon saw the Captain and immediately knew they were looking for him. He was a fool not to leave the city when he had a chance. He quickly finished his pastry and then looked at Mrs. Tull. "They might be looking for me," he said. "There was a misunderstanding this morning and I was taken to the prisons. The guards realized their mistake quickly and I was released, but not before that man threatened me. He seemed to be having a bad day, and shifted the blame of it to me, the closest Altmer to him. I would prefer not to have to see him again if possible. Would you mind if I waited in another room when he comes calling here?"

All-Saints Inn
Suddenly left alone, Bard's gaze wandered over the room, looking for someone else he could talk to. He was trying to ignore the feeling that Idona's sudden disappearing had left in his stomach.

The Tull's Shop
Mrs. Tull frowned, and before she could reply her husband threw his hands into the air, clearly exasperated. "Not only are you a bigot, but you're a criminal to boot," he exclaimed. "Gods above if this isn't the death of me, too."
"What kind of misunderstanding?" asked the Altmer, narrowing her eyes.
The Merchant's Inn
Roren could not hear anything but the faint echo of whispers. The guard did look very serious, though.
The All-Saints Inn
There were quite a few people in the room that Bard could see. Iszara and Antoine were there from the previous night, and the newcomer Darius had positioned himself not too far from Bard. Secrets and the priest Jeelius were seated at one of the tables.
Hopefully someone would take pity on poor Bard and keep him company.

"I ate someone else's sweetroll. An honest mistake, as I thought it was mine," Tauryon said. "Of course the guard didn't care to listen to the Altmer, just took the human's side of the story and carted me off to prison."

Karona was rendered speechless by the meal and tucked into it. She grabbed 2 slices of salted and spice venison, 3 honeyed apples and another slice of spiced venison. She savoured every bite of the meal. She didn't care that the juice from the venison fell onto her breasts or that some of the juice landed on there as well.

Temple District
Acaelus let his spell fade, no longer feeling it was of dire need. He smiled to himself. still got it...
His eyes flicked around the district, taking all possibilities, before scurrying into the shadows to his left, keeping a low, dark figure, and sticking to shadows, alternating his speed between slow in shadow and fast in light. As good as I may think I am, I couldn't keep this up while the whole city's in lockdown... "still, I've gotten somewhere" he whispered to himself assuringly. He made for the All Saints, deciding that a new set of people and some fresh information could be useful.
