Souls and even Gods transforming and transmuting is not an uncommon theme in the Elder Scrolls. Trinimac became Malacath etc and if you believe Kirkbride, Alduin "damned" Mehrunes Dagon into being a Daedric Prince.

I believe in Michael Kirkbride..mostly because I fear Muatra, but ya know.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Whom is Talos?

Dovahkiin / Talos / Hjalti Early Beard / Tiber Septim / Zurin Arctus / Underking / Wulfharth / Shor / Lorkhan?

I could give a guess but then I'd give myself a headache. Some people even say Lorkhan is Akatosh! :|

Well for what it's worth, Shor was before Akatosh or greater before his fall, so it would be the other way around.
