Oblivion Trivia!!!
Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Bingo.
My family dabble in the dark art - There's a Necromancer in the game who shares the same last name as him.
While I'm here, not high as a kite But in a similar mood, - Meaning 1: He is always drunk, which is similar to being high. Meaning 2: He sings about Cliff Racers (who fly as high as kites), unlike Aldos.
due to losing something dear to my heart - He is drunk because his wife died a month prior to Oblivion.
Which leads me to a messy end, after an unfair fight - Because he's drunk, poor, and homeless, he ends up getting killed to an armed guard in a fight with him having no weapon.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Sweet! I'll see if I can get a riddle up tonight. Should be an easy one.
The all seeing eyes
has sent me
so that one of each dies.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Is it Casta Flavus?
"The all seeing eyes" This could be Hermaeus Mora since his sphere is "scrying of the tides of Fate, of the past and future as read in the stars and heavens, and in whose dominion are the treasures of knowledge and memory."
"has sent me" "me" being Casta Flavus
"so that one of each dies." Hermaeus Mora's quest sends you to get one of each race

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Great Welkynd Stone
"Normally unnormally large" The Great Welkynd stone is pretty big if I remember correctly
"Unnormally over powered" It could be considered pretty powerful compared with normal Welkynd stones
"Normally unnormally in a person's house" You find it in Miscarcand and Miscarcand was an Ayleid ruin. The Ayleids lived there and so it could be considered a "home"
"Normally found underground" I'm pretty sure that the Ayleid ruins are partly underground
"It's a unique version of it's kind" I think it was mentioned that this was the last of its kind, so it could be considered unique

The Black Door (if I didn't get the name right, the door requiring you to answer a password in order to get into the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary)?

Oh, was 'Go away!' the puzzle? I thought you were still thinking of one and we're just telling us to go away until later.

Actually I might rephrase that - Everything after those first two lines of text is the puzzle.
It looks like you're on the right track. But no.Rezalon wrote:The Black Door?

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
That also reminds of the quest "zero visibility" where Ancotar say the same thing when you enter the fort.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
That's true - though, as you say, you don't need to click on Ancotar to get the 'Go Away'. Well I think so, anyway. I was busy being bitten on the ass by an invisible wolf at the time so I may be wrong.Ancotar

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
Negative. The answer can, however, be found in Chorrol.
Also, the answer is nothing so magical as painted trolls, but it is, in a way, related.

The Fighter's Guild quest, Information Gathering! The green Argonian , Ajum-Kajin is tied up in a chair while the purple Dunmer, Modryn Oreyn, is investigating him. Oreyn is "holding" (he actually gives it to you at the beginning of the quest) the Amulet of Interrogation.

Re: Oblivion Trivia!!!
^ Nicely remembered!
It looks like a reference to Modryn's painting though, so 'purple' is actually holding... a sword of some kind?
