had a long post breaking this down point for point when my PC geeked. too disgusted, frustrated and p/o'd to redo it. maybe later after I blow off some steam on Morrowind.

Are you disgusted/frustrated with your PC, or with my post? If it's your PC, hell yeah...sledgehammer that baby. If it's my post, I don't believe you should be that upset by it. In the end, I'm simply presenting my case that the vast majority of police officers, in this country, are both honorable and proficient at their job, and that this officer saved the life of the victim and (potentially) others.

I saw what was supposedly a leaked photo of the victim in hospital. Yuck. Even after extensive plastic surgery, he will never look even close to the same ever again. I'd probably throw myself off a cliff if I went through that. Assuming I could navigate my way to one without any eyes. Really, how could you live with yourself having gone through something like that? God awful. Too bad we aren't all Mr. Potato Heads. He could just pop his eyes nose and mouth back on. Or he could even put his eyes where his nose should be, his mouth where his eyes should be, and his nose where his mouth should be. What fun!

Wow, he...Actually looks pretty good, considering his face was torn off. Docs think they may be able to restore vision in his right eye (left eye was totally gouged out, though), and he still needs skin grafts and facial reconstruction, but he looks a hell of a lot better. He's awake, walking, eating, and talking. And nope, not chomping on the nurses' heads.

I have met policeman that once were attacked by guy on drugs. That guy was lot smaller than that policeman maybe 60-70kg but he fighted like 150kg over 2 meters long guy.

I haven't read up on baths salts, and I probably won't in the near future, but purely from the sound of how he acted, it sounds a lot like PCP. People high on PCP are pretty unstoppable, since (I believe this is true, but I'll have to check) the drug makes them almost impervious to pain, so they can withstand numerous bullet wounds and still continue to fight like a savage beast.

FYI:
There have been no toxicology reports on the cannibal. We don't even know for sure if he was on drugs, and especially not bath salts or PCP.

There's no question that he was on something, it's just not known what as of yet. He was shot 12 times before he stopped, and when he was approached, he growled at the officer, with flesh in his mouth. Even if the growling could be explained by a severe mental illness, it's near-impossible for someone not on a PCP-like drug to be shot 11 times and continue to attack.

That's the bummer about bullets. They leave tiny, round holes. A sword-cut would cause far more damage.

The man would have been crazy, and the actual pain wouldn't be as bad you thinking "oh crap! I've been shot with a gun!! Damn it! What the hell!?!"
He would have just ignored it and kept going if he was on drugs, which he likely was.
