Yalun looked at Ben, with a mixture of pain and happiness. "May I ask why?" He muttered, failing to hide the egdey pained tone.

Cornelius cleared his throat. "If that's all, I'd like to retire to one of the cabins for awhile before we get there. Only sleep I've had for awhile was when I got knocked out, when the bloody Dwarves attacked Arvel, and sent the airship we were on crashing down."

Ben smiled weakly at Yalun, trying not to feel guilty. "It's a secret military organisation." He replied trying not to look Yalun in the eyes. "We don't know what they do, but they saved our lives and we owe them for that."

Lets keep it going!
Victoria smiled, "You'll be able to get some in Dzagoev, won't be long till we get there".

As she said that the train began to pull into the largest village on the Lake Dzagoev, it was clearly in a wartime state. Makeshift barricades covered the streets. Shop windows were put out and boarded up, not many natives could be seen hanging around, the situation seemed dire.

Yalun smiled. "Mhm." He muttered. He sighed in sadness. "Well. Go ahead and leave me then." He murmured, turning away.

Scowling as he looked out the windows at the grim looking town, Cornelius prepared to disembark the train.

Vex frowned. "No, no, no! It's nothing like that!"

Yalg laughed, "Can't not be that too secret if you two be knowing about it, go on, just let the child come with you".

The train began slowly docking in the station. It was a nightmare. Refugees and soldiers the like were corwding the small wooden platform. Victoria stood up with her two advisors, "Come on gentlemen, up we get, follow please?".

She walked further down the carriage and waited at a closed door to get off.

Jason followed Victoria, the grim site not affecting him. War is war, things like this are normal.

Victoria looked out of the window on the door, "Apparently it gets worse everyday, the flow of refugees from the other Baronies", the door slowly slipped open. The refugees would be swarming the carriages right now if it weren't for a few guards holding them back.

Victoria walked out of the train, she looked about then continued off on a pre-set course by the guards.

Yalun looked at Yalg. He sighed, running his hand though his hair.

After a long confusing trek through the crowds of people the group were finally off the platform onto what appeared to be the main street. The road although clearly newly cobbled look tired and worn out, probably off of marching troops and drawn artillery. Victoria began leading them down one of the side alleyways in-between two broken into shops, "The other men on the train won't be getting off until the refugees are cleared", she paused and stopped at a shut wooden down, "This town is indeed in a sorry state", she knocked on the door, "Military Governess, open up will you!".

"Yes Yalun." Ben smiled, "You should come with us, an extra pair of hands never hurt nobody and I'm sure they'll need all the help they can get now that there's war. It's at Striaton park and we can head off when your ready."

Yalun looked at Ben. "Do not feel like you should take me along." He murmured.

"But we really could use the help." Vex said. "There's going to be a lot of fractured families in the war, you know. Displaced children with no parents... We could use someone like you."

Yalun sighed. "For the children." He muttered, quietly so no one heard him. "Fine, I will come." He spoke up.

Victoria burst in through the doorframe into the building. It was a small room with a table in the middle, there were several officers around the table, and they all took their attention to the newcomes, "Greetings Victoria", they ignored her aides, but looked at Cornelius and Jason, "Who are these irregulars?".

"Jason Henndly, former captain in Kimmit's own forces." Jason stepped in and saluted; "We were present in Valley and Arvel when they were attacked."
