I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

You could ask all the people who've died of it...TrogdorCronus27 wrote:[offtopic]I know H1N1 is bogus. I have yet to meet anyone who actually thinks it's a threat to their health.[/offtopic]
It is dangerous, it is capable of killing, but to be honest you could probably die of normal flu if you had it badly enough. It seems to be starting to ease off now anyway, and for once every single item on the BBC News channel isn't 'SWINE FLU!'. It got to its most ridiculous when my housemate was forced by her boss to take a month off work (unpaid, because she's freelance) because they thought she had swine flu, when she actually had normal flu, and even though she got better after a week they wouldn't let her back in case she was still infectious. Way to fail to understand the basic principles of flu, there.

I learned that Facebook's "targeted advertising" department is confused as to my gender and/or sexual orientation, as all the ads in the sidebar are related to either horses or beauty products. What is wrong with these people?

I might have a go at building some guitar effects pedals. I did loads of audio electronics on my degree - how hard can it be?

Some of you know, some of you don't, but I'm moving to Germany in like.. two months. Today I tried to cash out my 401K because I'm using that money for living expenses, getting there, passport, etc. I have about $4900 and $4600 of that I can touch (you have to work with the company 6 years to get 100%, and I've worked there, apparently, 95.7% of that). I tried cashing it out over the innerwebz today only to be told I could only have $1700. Excuse me? Even after the outrageous taxes of cashing it out prior to being 55 or whatever it is, I should walk away with about $3200+ so.. $1700? WTF?!

School for 8 hours, but only 3 lessons. Yay!
And now I'm supposed to do homework, but instead finding myself getting annoyed when a white space eats the internet-window.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Well yesturday I was left at work... true story
to dwelve into it a bit more it was that one worker took a dog to the vets so I was asked to stay back for a while with Liz until the other returned, so she did the lawn mowing and I went around picking up... doo doos, and later on I find out that the place is locked up and the other worker had come and gone, they both thought I had left already! But I couldn't get to the phone in the office (locked, duh) so I thought 'hey Liz lives just over there' so I went to her place to use her phone.. turns out she wasn't home and her bike was still there-so she left with the other work in the car!
sure being left with heaps of dogs (and puppy wuppies!) would be pretty cool n all, but <_< well yeah, I ended up finding the phone in the house and then going home... they have promised me a drink of coke on friday as an apology XD

Quite right, hopefully. There's a lovely architecture school in Würzburg I'll be attenting in like.. two years. Sadly that's how long it'll take to get started, meaning I'll graduate when I'm like.. 30. A year of traveling Europe after that (maybe) and then maybe after that I'll finally start my career...The Most Unholy wrote:From what I know, our very own cactus is heading off to Uni in Germany.

First the shark, then this. I appreciate your imagination, but can you keep your posts a bit more realistic?
