Hmmm...this is a peculiar thread. Let's see...guys say the stupidest things sometimes. One time at work (I wait tables as my first job), I went to the bar well to pick up beers for a customer and there was this man sitting next to the well that said to me: "You are really beautiful but you look like you are one mean b----". I just gave him a dirty look and responded "Yes, I am. That means I'm too much for you". Then I gladly flashed him the rock on my finger and walked off.

He comes into our restaurant all the time and still tries to say things to me like "You would talk to me if I had money" bla bla. First off jerk, I'm married. Second, you are fat and nasty. How's that?

I agree with Scozz, pickup lines (and this is obviously not from my great deal of experience in teh clubz) are usually pretty lame. If you really want to get to know a girl, get to know her.

I get pick-up lines occasionally. Although, most of them just involve direct contact, which I quickly rectify.

Here's a couple:

Me: (Is minding his own business in a crowd of two or three when we pass by another crowd-- is also wearing a moebius strip on a chain for a necklace.)

[&@%!]: (Reaches out and grabs my necklace.) Hey there. Do you wear this all the time? (Seedy-looking expressions ensue).

Me: (Commence [&@%!]-looking expressions) Oh my, no: I take it off when I'm [&@%!] someone. Otherwise it might get caught and rip his dick off-- but I could make an exception if you want to take the chance.

Funny story: he left me alone after that.

Me: (Sitting in chair, minding my own business at a local organization meeting.)

Creep: (Starts feeling up my leg.)

Me: (Moving drastically) Wha-whoa! What the hell are you doing??

Creep: I just wanted wanted to see if it was true, what they say about Psychology majors.

Me: And what, exactly, do they say?

Creep: I don't know. I just wanted to see if it was true.

Me: Right, well. Go look somewhere else. I'm not playing along.

I suppose I should note that I severely dislike when people I don't know touch me without permission-- most especially when it's part of random flirting-- which is why I go instant [&@%!] when it happens.
