Multiple copies.

I want to run two copies of Morrowind, one using MGE and one using MGEXE. Even with Xe's update, I still prefer the water from MGE. The water in XE is too animated for my taste, so that from an angle it actually looks like wobbling jello. Ideally, with two copies of morrowind I could just choose when to enjoy MGE or XE's shadowing and other effects. I tried copying my morrowind installation to another place on my pc, then running XE's lod setup from its directory- but when I go back to my other MGE version, it is using XE as well. I need some help getting one install setup with MGE and another setup with XE. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I am in fact using the overhaul, yes.

I don't feel like re-generating the distant land every time I want to switch between the two.


If you mean there is an option in the overhaul to switch versions of MGE on the fly, I was not aware of that. I'll go take a look.
