I'm so sorry to hear that, Avron
I know it's never easy to lose a pet, even when it is for the best.

Your dog is gorgeous.
The previous owners of my house got a cat as a kitten, but then they abandoned him after a year. He spent a year outside, sad and neglected, with our nice neighbor occasionally feeding him and setting up a little shelter for him, when we bought the house. Unfortunately he hasn't been socialized well so we can't let him inside the house (he'd fight with our other kitties and attack my daughter) but he likes following me around when I'm in the garden. He's cross-eyed, mean, clingy, and so cute!

He doesn't look like a Border Collie to me.

That's a funny way to spell Dachshund.

I always had Irish wolfhounds, so that's the only dog for me. But I really like the little mutt my boyfriend has! If only he liked me.

Thank you. He also doubles as a chick magnet, as I can't take him outside on weekends without being swarmed by high school girls.

Slightly more ontopic:
I have two Dachshund mixes, myself. Nice dogs, if not odd at times. They're both getting up there in age, which saddens me, but I think they'll still be around for a while.

My cousins bought a 7/8 Chihuahua 1/8 Yorkshire terrier yesterday. It's basically a chihuahua that's less bug-eyed.
His name is Sixten, and he's the
wuvliest wittle wupsie-pupsie snookums in the whole wide world.
