Lord Lorenzo use the resource that he got from Estonia to upgrade his army.

The ships landed at East Francia. From the start, they were attacked by Francian forces. They were bogged down but managed to put up a fight. The Francians showered them with arrows. The 300 Francians had lost one hundred men and so did the Estonians. A trupmet denoted the arrival of the Scottish forces. There were 600 hundred of them. A day later and the Francians lay dead. 100 Estonians had died and so had 100 Scottish troops.

300 troops are sent to the border with Provence, ready to attack. Also Lord Skyr sent a courier, to give the chance of surrender. But the courier is only an assasin sent to kill the Provence's king.

I can lend you 200 men, and we can take both Province and the remainder of Burgundy, all I ask is a fair share.

"for now I haven't started the attack yet, I prefer to see the reaction of my enemies first.
But If war will start I will be pleased to get your help. I will offer to you the region of Burgundy, but I prefer to invest in the coast, so I will take the south Provence. Also I would know your opinion about the Pope and the catholican church.

Can princesses be used as diplomatic currency? As it, bribing other countries to give my country stuff by having my princess marry one of their royal family?

Not really but if your daughter marries an NPC you get land.

Skyr, religion change is risky. Rebellions may happen and nearly every NPC will be against you.
