Nope, not Farwil
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.

But..... but!
The grey prince? He's a nobleman, son of a lord. Yet he's afraid of himself being a vampire, and wants to die.

You got it
The second verse would have made it more clear:
I have the title of a prince
As shady as it is
Acomplishments by sword and strength
But still it ends like this
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.
A viking is just a horny pirate.

What book, written by a necromancer, has nothing to do with The Elder Scrolls, and in what language is it written?
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.
A viking is just a horny pirate.

Um... Is it SI or vanilla Oblivion? If vanilla, my guess would be the "Tome of Unlife". It reads "The First...... and the Last".

Why me of all? I've never done necromancy. Unless it is written in Russian, but I play russian version, so it's impossible for me to tell which one is supposed to be the one you are looking for.

Hehe, I was more thinking of your background as a wiki editor
Clue: Morrowind easter egg, but the book is also to be found in Oblivion.
I used to play Oblivion, then I took an arrow in the knee.
A viking is just a horny pirate.

This is a bit harder.
Who wants this engraved and on what? "To my Dear Matty, I'll always be here to protect you, love Mum."

The mother that you kill in the DB quest (Draconis was it?) and it's to be engraved on a curass for her son Mathias.

Give the red-eye most you got,
surf with me through the wind,
Only the night can surpass me.
