Re: DLC Speculation
Interesting, a Hammerfell DLC could work, what with the shared border with Skyrim or the potential for boats to transport the player into coastal Hammerfall (I'm not thinking the whole province), hmmm, even if it isn't DLC it could be related to a re-release of Redguard or something else exciting like that. Bethesda has given away many a secret via filing for patent though.

You would be surprised what secrets are given away at the patent office
. (pun, joke... yea)
EDIT: And I don't believe it is a re-release as they wouls have one for Daggerfall which is non-existent.

Re: DLC Speculation
Let's not forget how the landmasses of Morrowind and Cyrodiil are pretty accurately featured in the game's data files, but are inaccessible in the actual game.
I think Bethesda is going to release DLC on things that were touched upon in the game. For example, the Thalmor felt like they were to have a lot bigger presence in the game than they got. So, we might get one where we fight more Thalmor.
We also might get a DLC in Morrowind. The game said a lot about how the Dunmer were defeated and whatnot.

Very possible, but what I found was what can be assumed as evidence.
I found out that Skyrim was going to be Skyrim almost a year and a half before it was released.

Re: DLC Speculation
Eh, I'd rather not have another province as a DLC. Each province should have its own game, except maybe the "small" ones like Valenwood or Elsweyr... Ooh, that would be a good VI... Elder Scrolls VI: Dominion would be such a catchy name...
Anyhoo, back on topic. My leaning shifted again, towards a new Daedric realm. Just played Shivering Isle on my copy of Oblivion, and I'm hooked. And the best thing about Daedric realms is they won't take up any Nirn real-estate. Personally, I'd to visit Hircine's realm. A lot of Companion tie-in potential there.

Re: DLC Speculation
I would like to go into another realm, it would be cool to compare the realms from the 2 games. But I doubt it would have that Charm Sheogorath had. I don't think there would be lol moments. Or WTF moments. Eh, we will wait and see.

What's ironic is that not twenty minutes before you posted that, I posted the same thing in the Wishlist thread, same name, same provinces, everything! Re: DLC Speculation
I could say that about provinces oh it is just another part of the same world, how could it be different? Well it could be very different just like daedric realms. Daedric realms are all very different, contrast the shivering isles to the deadlands. I would be happy to visit another daedric realm.Assassin540 wrote:One thing I really don't want is a Daedric realm just do not like those very much I want to go to another Province. i think i'd now like the dlc to allow me to get rid of the empire and unite the nords under my banner, have decided i dont like either side
this could extend the civil war plotline much in the same way broken steel did for fallout 3, and persuading all the people of the various holds to follow me would be an involved and challenging enterprise

Re: DLC Speculation
i think the elephant in the room is the Thalmer, so reckon dlc might give us the chance of kicking high elves out of Skyrim, which would linnk in with the civil war cos even the imperial nords don't like the idea of the empire being a puppet of the dominion
i would like to walk down that road into morrowind tho

at the moment i am leaning towards skyrim for the nords, but they do seem to love fighting each other and you'd wonder if they could all actually unite under one peaceful banner to run their own country, especially under Ulfric (i believe my guy would be a far better high king and would welcome the chance to prove it lol)

Re: DLC Speculation
This would be fantastic, especially with Kodlak's last words, but only if you could choose who to fight for. I love the Hunting Grounds and their master and could never turn my back on Him.Personally, I'd to visit Hircine's realm. A lot of Companion tie-in potential there.

Re: DLC Speculation
I want to see something different, like maybe a visit to part of Hammerfell or elswer, I have a feeling that either of those two will be DLC or the next ES game as there seem to be alot of hints.

Re: DLC Speculation
For daedric realms, I want either Hircine's hunting grounds or Moonshadow. Unfortunately, I don't think either of those are going to happen. Unless...
Maybe a return to Solstheim? Then I could see Moonshadow as part of it.

Re: DLC Speculation
Honestly with this game I feel they almost set it up, as in a dlc that continues the story. More importantly I'm very much convinced that the next dlc won't be a major SI expansion I think we may be looking more towards some sort long questline for the Dragonborn.
I would like to see the DB go on a quest to ascend to Godhood, because honestly I think the idea of him mantling either Talos or Shor to be very high at the moment, the DB is killing immortal beasts left and right and just slayed a divine being, he's packing some godly power.
The fact that the champion could do it as a daedra makes it seem very likely it could be done as a divine, I mean Tiber Septim did it afterall.
Secondly, Alduin although an arrogant and selfish [&@%!] doesn't just come out to say hi every other kalpa, he had to have been released for some reason in that first era during the Dragon War, and the only one who has the power to unleash him is Akatosh.
What if he's actually mad at the World still and plans to end it himself, and as DB you become a God to stop it?

I mean in the sense that since he's the guy who destroys the world to restart them again, he would've done it before, why would he just be lounging around for 1000+ years not doing his job (unless that's what he did, instead of ending it just took it up as his 'playground' so to speak)

Well my understanding is that he is just a dragon, and while he may "end the world" he wishes to rule it.Da_BossMaN69 wrote:I mean in the sense that since he's the guy who destroys the world to restart them again, he would've done it before, why would he just be lounging around for 1000+ years not doing his job (unless that's what he did, instead of ending it just took it up as his 'playground' so to speak)
I dont recall anything but Nord's using him as not a God saying he ends the world.
