Stolen Tag Help

Hi, I need some help removing stolent tags. I have already tried various methods, all failures. The item in question is the Blades Armor, taken from the Blades. Any and all suggestions would be very, very welcome.

If you are on the Xbox, then you can not use the Console Commands.

Have you tried selling the armor to a fence?

I have not tried selling the Blades Armor to anyone yet, but I do know that some of the Main Quest Related Items do not show up in the barter (buy/sell) menu, I am not sure if the Blades Armor will allow you to sell it.

What happened?

1) They were not options for sale?

2) It did not remove the stoled tag?

It did not remove the stolen tag, so, for example, when retrieving them from a chest, they are bright red. Also, if arrested, they take all of it.
I'm trying to help out my brother, silly kid forgot to pick it up before refusing to... Do that thing the blades demand you to do.

That is odd then. You shoud be able to sell a stolen item to remove the tag, then buy it back. I wonder if beth planed it to not work like Oblivion, or if it is a glitch?

I will test it out, and let you know.

- I did notice, that when I did steal an Ebony Ingot, and then added it to my stash, it stacked with my other Ebony Ingonts, and made it look like they are all stolen.

- I have also noticed that stolen Items will not show up for sale to vendors, but I also do not have a stolen tag on the items when they are in my inventory. The stolen tag does show in the containers, just not in my inventory, when I am carrying them.

Also transforming some items doesn't remove their stolen tag. For instance enchanting stolen armor doesn't remove the stolen tag.
