Has anyone had stormcloaks unsheathe their weapon at you?

When they see you? (the guards patrolling roads for me) They "just keep walking" and stuff like that, but I haven't chosen any sides yet, and I'm pretty early on in the main quest. Then I go to talk to them, and they're all friendly "any race can help us take back skyrim" or something like that. I'm a high elf if that matters...but I've been in the stormcloaks camps before and everyone was really friendly. I doubt I killed any of them either...

I haven't, but I don't think I've had an Imperial wave a sword at me since the opening sequence either. I kill all patrolling Imperials I find though.

Yesterday, a mad khajiit jumped out of a roadside bush, ripped open his overcoat and unsheathed his weapon at my young female wood elf companion, i don't think it had anything to do with politics though, i "disarmed" him with my axe.

In the beginning of the game, when I was on my way to Riverwood, I took a wrong turn and ran into a Stormcloak camp. They all drew their weapons and threatened me, but when I backed off, they sheathed their weapons and went about their business. Many hours of gameplay later, when I found their camp again, they were all polite and proper with me as if it were the first time we were meeting. Sooo...
