Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
Lithnililling had gone through the door at Aarys' side. Even though he would never admit it to any of the strangers around him, he was afraid, as much as one who has nothing to lose can be afraid, of what was to come for it was uncertain. And what was uncertain was a terrifying monster in his mind.

Re: Andia: The Revolution (WWII-ish fantasy roleplay)
1 year later
The eight mortals were lined in front of the villa at the rebel estate. They were tougher, stronger, and more mentally focused on the cause of the mortal rebels. It had been a year since their escape from Empire City; a year of difficult mental and physical training. But they got through it.
The villa's doors opened, revealing General Augustus Sanchez. Sanchez stepped outside. "My dear friends," he said with a grin. "It has been one year since each of you were trapped behind the walls of Empire City, rotting and being treated as though you meant nothing. Now, things are different. Now, you have a cause. Now, you are rebels. It is time each of you see why you were rescued from captivity twelve months ago. Please, follow me into the villa.
New Abilities
Each of you now possess these new abilities:
-You are much more physically stronger. You can now lift much heavier objects.
-You are much more mentally stronger. You are far more intelligent, clever, and wise than you were when you first escape the ICA.
-You are trained in the use of basic melee weapons such as swords and clubs.
-You are trained in the use of basic firearms.
-You are now able to drive automobiles.
-You are now able to use the "Firestone" spell - a basic fireball spell.
-You are now able to use the "Heal Minor Wounds" spell - a very basic healing spell that can cure small wounds.

Valentin, curious as to what the General was about to show them, followed Sanchez into the villa.

"I think it makes you look tough." Valentin said. "You should wear it during any future battles."

"Wouldn't help me if I've got that to distract me all the time," Hremai pointed out.

Valentin shrugged. "I suppose not." he said with a chuckle. "Nevemind what I said."

"But thank you for the compliment nevertheless," Hremai said, smiling faintly.

Aarys ignored Ashriel's pun. "Hey, Valentin! You still owe me a dance... I plan on calling you on that debt!" She teased, laughing.

Aarys reddened slightly. "I dunno. I haven't ever really had time to practice, have I?"

"I suppose not." Valentin said with a short laugh. "I hope it comes naturally...because I most likely have far less experience than you. We'll learn together."
