Just a couple of things I wanted to mention:

1. To be the Official UESP channel, it would have to be approved by Daveh.
2. The UESP already has an Official Channel, #UESPwiki on Chatspike.

Now, I'm not trying to persuade you from having one for the forums. The #UESPwiki is geared more towards supporting the wiki than being an extension on the forums. I just want to make the point that if you're going to make a chatroom, it isn't the official chatroom of the UESP.

Don't you just wish there was someone who, y'know, took care of people like that? Someone who spent hours setting up the chatroom? Someone who actually bothered to learn the commands, and tried to be fair and equitable in judgment?

There's a reason I did the things I did - to prevent things like that from happening. People say I was abusing my power, I say I was preventing spam and trying to stop people screaming profanities. Maybe that wasn't fun enough for you, but I stopped **** like that from happening - which is what a mod is supposed to do.

And now, the chat that I spent so long setting up, fell to shambles without me - just like I expected it to. There's a reason we need rules. Nobody likes censors, nobody wants to stop discussing something off topic, and the fact is mods have to make unpopular decisions.

And with that, I am off again. Goodbye, and good luck. It was a pleasure knowing some of you. The rest of you... well, I wont stoop to your level and express how I truly feel There's a reason for rules...

The difference being that you must be slightly more lenient in a chat. There are no set rules.

NightFather, I appreciate your work, and am sure everyone else does.

I'm not sure exactly what happened here, but I would like to think that people would give you another chance, you seemed to be doing a good job as far as I saw, and if greater leniency is all that people want, then I'm sure there is a reasonable compromise.

As for chat moderators, there will be a few. If Duruza would like to get on board, he will be the other main mod. I believe nyk was also a suggestion, and he seems to be quite trustworthy, and is also a mod. Please, check out the updated opening post, and remember - I'm watching. Always.
