Modern Warfare 3
So here's the trailer. Release Date: 8/11/2011 . Whether you love the game or despise it, it's going to make billions fairly quickly.
3ngland,Franc3,Am3rica and G3rmany-The next WW3. What do you think of the trailer? Will you buy the game, seeing as its release date is just off Skyrim's? I have high hopes for this game. They've had 4 blockbuster CoDs. Will they get the 5th one just right?

Yeah I'll prolly buy it, then I'll play it for two days then Skyrim will come out and never touch until like two years later.

I'll most likely buy it then play it until Skyrim comes out. I'm sure people will be ranting about things the moment they play it but oh well. I mean, what's Call of Duty without modders, hackers, campers, rushers, noobtubers, quick-scopers, or boosters?

Oh great... another one...
Just imagine what the guys at school are going to be like when it comes out...
5 quid says they're gonna focus on multiplayer, and just skim over the Campaign... like Black Ops.

Re: Modern Warfare 3
No. Absolulty not. Never, ever. No Way. Forget about it. and no.
COD is what chased me away from FPS. I rarely play online, if ever, so I like games that have a good single player campaign. The last COD that was remotely good was world at war. Here is one thing that is a problem with COD. I was talking to a guy at gamestop and he didn't know that Mass Effect 3 had been delayed. I told him it was probably to avoid the call of duty a-thon that Christmas has become. He points to a poster behind him that I had not seen and sure enough, MW3 is there
They are coming out with one every stinking year, and each time the single player gets crappier and crappier. Pretty soon they will just do away with single player on COD.

I'll probably end up getting it eventually, but I'm not looking forward to it really. Not much has come out of my time with the COD franchise, and I can expect this one to only continue to confirm my feelings that this franchise is one of the most annoying in game

Well a lot of distributors are pushing for yearly sequels to keep the cash rolling in from susceptible fan boys. The same has happened to Assassin's Creed and Battlefield.born2beagator wrote:Its like clockwork isn't itSpiney wrote:Yet again, here comes the yearly instalment of CoD.![]()

What is really sad is I hear little (10 year old) kids in gamestop getting excited for MW3. Parents would probably let their pre-teen's play Dead Space these days.AKB wrote:I'll probably end up getting it eventually, but I'm not looking forward to it really. Now Spiney, I LOVE Assassin's Creed.

and Spiney, I am fine with a new title every year if it is something I like. So far, they haven't let me down on any Assassin's Creed game yet.

My brother will buy it, so if for some reason I wanted to play it I could. I'll just play my games on steam and wait for Skyrim.

Re: Modern Warfare 3
I may give call of duty a miss this year. At least until Christmas. I'll be getting Skyrim, Assassin's creed, and Battlefield 3; I think battlefield 3 will be a better experience than COD.
