Legolas is a beast. While Maximus from Gladiator was incredible...Legolas takes the cake in this matchup. The main character that Denzel Washington plays in "Man on Fire" is pretty good too.

However, my vote will be for:

Ra's al Ghul who Liam Neeson plays in Batman Begins. This is largely contributed because Liam Neeson is a better actor than Russel Crowe, OR Orlando Bloom (in my opinion).

Leonidas from 300 was pretty darn epic, and Wallace from Braveheart too.

Clint Eastwood has to outrank them all though 8)

I beg to differ. All of them are idiots. It was a stupid movie. And James Horner, he's an idiot too.

Hey now, the main character is the idiot. All of the other characters were only involved in the plot because of the main character. If you must blame someone for the movie blame Jake Sully.

I blame them all. Stupidity is a shared trait among them.

I agree with Vivec.

None of the actors in that movie did a good job. It was all graphics. I could've just played a video game the whole time instead. It was a stupid movie. It looked like Halo mixed with hell knows what, Argonia, Smurfs, and Environmentalism?

Halo+Argonia+Smurfs+Environmentalism=Avatar. They ripped too many people off. They based the movie off an older movie, that was pretty much Halo mixed with Tinkerbell.

I don't see, Dark Lord, how you compare anyone or anything from Avatar to anything from 300, LotR, Gladiator, Batman Begins, or any other half decent movie out there. It was all graphics, with bad acting and a cliche plot line.

Got to be Maximus from Gladiator for me. Know the whole speech when he reveals himself off by heart. Bit sad I know but it's hard not to know it when you watch the film like 2 or 3 times a year (which is also a bit sad in itself).

Liam Neeson is also pretty awesome in pretty much all his movies, probably like him most in Batman Begins and Taken. Very badass in both of them.

Look, I don't care if you guys hate the movie. I found the plot stupid too.

A SINGLE CHARACTER.

I've never seen Taken, though I want to. It seems awesome. I found Wallace in Braveheart to be pretty good as well. I also think Will Smith did a good job in "I am Legend".

Anyone ever seen Vantage Point? I thought some of those actors were pretty good. It's a short movie though.

For those who care, and are still following this topic, my favorite movie character is Eli, from the Book of Eli. He had everything. Humor, Skills, and general Bad-Assery. What more could I ask for?

You know...I think I might agree with you there.

I think I'm gonna have to say Agent Smith from The Matrix, or J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson.

Nathan Algren from The Last Samurai, he may be played by Tom Cruise, but he's a really good character, and it's played so well. Otherwise Red from Pineapple express: "You just got owned by a daewoo lanos mother f***er!"

He really annoys me for some reason :| think it's because he is 'always' the big hero, no diversity, I don't like it personally.
