Alchemy

I can add items to Aprentice bowl but then... there is no option to do anything with them

What am I missing? [PC via Steam]

On the original, I quickly gravitated to a mod that completely revamped the alchemy menu. But since this is similar to the original and not modded, it's a little funky, and I'm still getting used to it. Recipes to my knowledge are mostly the same. Initially, until you get Alchemy to level 25, you'll "know" only the first effect of the ingredients. Make sure you have at least 2 different ingredients with the same first effect. Most have restore fatigue as the first one, so that's an easy one. Then use any one of your alchemy devices and it takes you to the potion making window, as long as you at least have a mortar & pestle in your inventory. I haven't tested it yet, but the game should automatically use each of the devices you have and use the best quality of each that you have. You would then select the 2 ingredients and they should show up on the right, but it's funky because hovering on something in the list on the left seems to temporarily show that ingredient in the next slot on the right, and that's misleading & confusing. To make sure I'm seeing the right thing, I'll move my cursor away from the list on the left to make sure I'm seeing the ingredients that I actually selected. I don't remember that from the OG. To "help" with that issue, the selected ingredients get grayed out once they're selected. Anyway, once you have 2 ingredients listed on the right, then you should be able to hit the big mortar & pestle Create button at the bottom of the right side. If not, then we're both missing something, LOL.

Yes, the recipes are still the same. It's just a new interface.
