Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
Summer hoodies make way for Autumn jumpers in Kerr's life. Or pullovers as I believe you call them everywhere that isn't Ireland. I like my autumn wardrobe more than my summer one generally speaking, jumpers, gloves and scarves oh my! You don't get to wear any of that stuff in the summer.

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
I never hear the word 'pullover'. Jumpers all round, mate!
My Autumn wardrobe is the same as my Summer wardrobe, which, incidentally, is also the same as my Spring wardrobe and my Winter wardrobe.
What's your jumper selectiin like? Plains, patterns, quirky characters?

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
They're mostly pretty plain design wise, I'll show you two of them now. Although I like the design of the green one more than the burgundy one, hope I can find another like it.
And I am planning on going clothes shopping tomorrow afternoon so hopefully I can pick up some nice new jumpers now that stores will have them back in stock.

Ooh, nice! Sweaters (that's what we call them) are perfect for fall. ^-^ They look and feel so cozy. And you can wear them out and about without a coat, looking all stylish.

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
I think I see a small waffle texture on the green one. Burgundy design is a classic.
Hope you find what you're looking for tomorrow.
I recall you had another nice jumper on in one of your pics you posted. In fact, it may well have been that green one, perhaps...

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
Today I bought trousers. Several pairs of trousers that aren't jeans. I haven't had non-jean trousers in years. I haven't tried any of them on yet though, so knowing my luck, they won't fit properly, but at least I found a good selection of nice ones in the first place.

Oooh what color? I don't own a single pair of non-jean trousers. In fact, skinny jeans are all I own.
Edit: my auto correct is nuts. How does that even happen

One black jegging style, one black jeany sort of material, one black leather-look, one purple leather-look, and one burgundy suede feel.

Sorry my phone is weird lol. Non jean yeah. Oh I love Jeggings. I don't own any leather-look jeans but those sound pretty hot.

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
Ha ha. No worries.
I was thinking that maybe you'd gone full on ES in real life, and were wearing steel armour as your trousers.
Your phone changed jean to metal? Lol. Sometimes technology seems like a sentient being that likes to have a laugh.
Yeah, the leathery ones might be a bit hot, but Winter is coming so it should be fine.

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
Knowing me, it's a possibility!
No it didn't change jean to metal. But because I didn't hyphenate nonjean, my phone corrected it to the closest compound I had used and that happened to be non-metal!
Oh I meant hot as in hawt, not warm!

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
Oh, that makes more sense.
Ah, whoops. Leathery stuff tends to make you hot, so it was the first thing that came to mind.
Yeah, probably, though on me I think they'll just look like trousers, to be honest.
I have no idea what kind of shoes would look good with them: probably non of the ones I own.
And they'll likely look OTT with my faux leather jacket, or make it look like I'm off to ride a motorcycle that I don't own. Lol.

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
I was gonna say this, but then I realized that pleather could potentially be very warm, and you might have actually meant temperature-hot. So perhaps they are hot in all senses of the word.dremorababe wrote:Oh I meant hot as in hawt, not warm!

Haha they would look like trousers on sticks if I wore em.
@Cass nailed it. Both meanings make a lot of sense so I'm a genius.

@Babe
I bet what you call sticks, others would call something good!
Sounds like the trousers I bought would be great for you. Three pairs of them were pretty much ok until it got to the knees, and then they went too narrow. I know they're called skinny trousers, but the calf and ankle section is just silly.
Kept one pair of black bootcut though. Woo.
The leathery ones were really nice, but they just didn't fit right. Shame.
How tall are you, db? I remember you saying that you are small, so I'm curious how skinny jeans are for you because I find them odd on me.

Re: Fashion Discussion Thread
I would love a pair of sick kicks. I miss having my checkerboard skate shoes. I never skatedboarded really, but those shoes were hella comfortable and I LOVE checkerboard patterns!
However, they're a combination of old, small, and beaten up. Plus with the amount of walking I do on campus, skate shoes with no argument support just won't cut it. So I have a boring pair of black Reebok's instead.

@Union those would look great. I like checkered Vans à la Jared Leto.

Oh, how did I miss that? I like your sweater, Kerr! It looks all warm and cozy. And the colour is lovely.
I am very happy for the colder weather, as of late. It means I get to wear fall stuff.I bought a nice sweater at the store where I took the picture, too. Gotta love them sales.

With it getting colder n all, I've been having the excuse to wear my black turtle necks under my scrubs again. I've also refreshed by attire by getting some new scrubs. Not all them mind ya, but at least two sets. I'm also still waiting for my fleece jacket I ordered from work(Now all I need is a matching scarf and I'll be set for winter)

Ooh I love the scarf @Cass. I envy you all for getting to wear all these wintery/autumny clothes. My wardrobe stays the same all year round sadly.

Guess who's all dressed up in purple and wearing a black turtleneck? This guy. (Got brand new scrubs finally. They messed up one of 'em when I ordered it, so I'll have to return one of my pants for the correct ones)
