It's pumpkin pie filling (made from scratch) with a cake mix mixed with butter sprinkled on top and then baked. It is my favorite dessert ever. The one in the pic went a little too long in the oven and so the top is a little burnt, but it was still delicious.

The sun doesn't rise for us until past 8am....so its easy to wake up before it graces us for 6 humble hours. Am I bitter? No, just really needing some sun. Sigh.

People like to feel "geeky" by watching a sci-fi show that's more popular in Europe. It's okay.

The fact that it's a fun sci-fi show at all kind of earns respect from me. What's the latest real sci-fi show that's come out in America? Almost Human?

I had this at Ladies Game night (BUNCO) and it was outrageous! My friend added nuts to the top for some crunch. Got the recipe and will be making it soon.

Oh! I've actually started watching that. Seems pretty interesting. Robocop mixed with Buffy kind of thing (obviously she's not a robot, but the way her suit works and the guy that's able to

Is it considered weird to watch non-North American shows in America or something? That why so many people are eager to make US remakes of shows? It's not even a different language. Actually when the first Mad Max was shown in America for the first time it was dubbed by American actors.

Then again I live in Ireland. There isn't much Irish made television to begin with.

It's not at all hard to understand. It just so happens that the Hollywood big wigs and producers all assume that Americans are stupid and thus, we get treated like stupid children. Jokes are changed, accents are fixed, and all reference to anything academic gets replaced with poop jokes.

"UK" English is a questionable term. People in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland speak in different dialects. Maybe they can make more money by remaking it as opposed to just airing someone else's show? Often these things are more about money than wanting to make something really good. But it isn't always the case. There are good foreign remakes. But there are a lot of awful ones. The US IT Crowd for example.

Personally I think it is best to remake stuff that had a good premise and a poor execution. So then a story that could have been good can actually be done well.

I've seen a few clips of the US version of the I.T crowd and it's just pure [&@%!]. same with red dwarf. I've heard the US version of Being Human is quite good. Do wish that the big wigs in hollywood would leave our stuff alone if they intend on meddling with it and ruin the charm.

What are you getting at? Personally, I watch many British based shows and currently an Australian one as well. I find the humor pretty darn good. (do miss much of the political jokes, etc.) America has so much Reality crap on now I could just scream. Thus, I am playing Skyrim, told Comcast to suck it, and have Netflix to watch as much British stuff as I want. OOoo, looks like you opened a wound here. IT crowd British was freaking hilarious. Currently, if you have not seen it, check out Derek.

The I.T crowd is one of the best comedies i've ever seen. It doesn't use the obvious gags and can surprise you. watch clips of it online as i can't explain how good it is. As for the US version. [&@%!] THAT SHOW!

I did not even know there was a US version of IT Crowd, good thing I missed it. I love my country, but certain things we do are embarrassing. I am referring to the US, incase that was not obvious.

John Krasinski of the US The Office felt the same way when he was asked to be in a show based off of the UK show, because he said that Americans have a way screw up shows that they remake, which is very true, and he didn't want to be a part of potentially destroying the reputation of this great show that he loved (the original UK version).

That show was the exception, because Ricki Gervais was an Exec. on that, and it became a hit. (So, still British I guess)

The US Office turned out to be hilarious, though. Probably because they didn't try to copy and crowd every little thing.
