Nerevar's Prowess
"You're not here to [&@%!]," Gudrun said matter-of-factly. "If [&@%!] gets in the way of doing your job, you'll feel the consequences. That's all I have to say on the matter. Now let me ask just to be sure: do you understand what you have to do?"

Arellius Afer III - Nerevar's Prowess
Arellius almost rolled his eyes at Gudrun. Almost. But quickly remembered himself. He couldn't get the gold until he completed the job and he couldn't complete the job if Gudrun decided to kill him for any disrespect he might show her. It wasn't that he was afraid if her (okay maybe he was, just a bit), and he was pretty sure he could take her in a fight. He did have three weapons after all. He just wasn't willing to chance his life in a tussle with her. Not whilst the chances were only pretty sure to win at best - and then he might be seriously underestimating his opponent.
Instead he gave her a curt nod of his head and growled in return.
"I understand. I'll geh tha' job done." He replied huskily. "I always do.

"Sounds good." Aenar said. He looked around the room, wondering who else would take the offer.

Suran, Temple
The man turned around. He did not take off his hood, but Sinyail could tell that he was looking at him as he spoke:
"You have been on this world for a long time now, Sinyail. You have seen many things. Tell me, is it often that mad, rambling men know your name and history? I know you. I know your future companions, and I know some of your enemies. One day, perhaps you will know me, too. But today, I must remain anonymous. Come now, and join the others in the tavern. There isn't much time."
Despite what the Altmer's rational mind told him, a part of him couldn't help but feel like this mysterious man was honest. Or at least that he knew what he was talking about.
Nerevar's Prowess
"That is what I heard, and that's why I hired you," Gudrun said. "Now it's time for both of us to prepare." With those words, she stood up, signalling the end of the conversation. She didn't move towards the door, however, as if she intended to stay in her cabin.

"Will there be venison?" she asked loudly.

"If we make it back to Cyrodiil, like we're planning, almost certainly!" Llela replied with an easy grin. "Come on, pull up a seat. What's the name?"

Valentia blinked as the effect of the drink wore off, and silently swore to only drink water from that point on.
She retrieved her notebook from her pack and jotted down a quick note; Stay away from Shein.

Gaenidil watched Llela curiously, he would like to hear more so he stood up and took a seat in front of her even though she wasn't speaking to him.

Llela turned around to face the newcomer, and greeted him with her best smile. Bosmeri, dark, slim, and the unconscious pre-Vana part of her was relatively sure that he was fairly handsome. The conscious Vana part told the other part to shut up.
"Ah, greetings, Bosmer!" She said, extending her hand.

Gaenidil looked at the moment before awkwardly shaking it, like his hands were not used to such a greeting. "How do you do?" The Druid asked.

"Been better." Llela said, with a faint grin. "Now, you're less businesslike than most hardened mercs, and you've seen too many years to be some green kid. What's your profession?"

Katien edged closer to the dunmer pair too. She sat only a few seats away.

"Profession?... Oh you mean what do I do for coin!" Gaenidil said in the eccentric bosmer way. "I am a guide to the wild places, for hunters and adventurers... I also make potions and cures.." The bosmer said to the dunmer.

"That sounds damned useful." Llela admitted, glancing back at her partner in crime.
She snapped her gaze back to Gaenidil. "I'm Llela, what do they call you?" She asked.

"I am Gaenidil, a pleasure to meet you." The bosmer said bowing a little theatrically. "The official name for my occupation would be a Druid or so I am told. " he said taking his pipe again and lighting it. "So you need adventurers?" The elf asked.

"Feeling's mutual." Llela said, tucking an unruly strand of black hair behind her pointed left ear.
She noticed Valentia, and gave her a nod of acknowledgement. Their table was quickly becoming a knot of people, it seemed.

The thought of exploring new places in Morrowind excited Valentia. "I'm skilled enough to be of use in a fight, I assure you." she said with a bow. "I know my ways around Destruction, Illusion, and Restoration. I'd be happy to come along, if you'll have me."
