I have just finished reading The Host. It felt strangely like New Moon in some parts though. It's a very good book though, and it almost seems like you'd WANT a sequel to it, even though it gives a very clear ending.

I'm buying Breaking Dawn and the third Inheritance book as soon as they come out... or rather my sister will and then I'm going to read them.
And I'm thankful that she's going to be the one to buy them because as with Sublymonal, I'm making a trip soon, although it's going to be rather more permanent than his, as I've decided to change my moving plan altogether and just go to a different country.

Well, I AM getting DragonFire and DragonLight [my last two purchased books for a few years] in the mail tommorrow. And to Oathbreaker, I do eventually plan on moving to cambodia, but that will be a long time from now. Like ten years from now.... possibly longer.... probably longer....

King's last post reminded me of a book I have. I'm not reading it but it's good.
It's called "The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night", by MMark Haddon I think.
It's about an autistic kid who discovers a dog dead in his neighbours front yard and then sets out to "solve the mystery".
The point of view in the book is strange, and there are a few strange things like the chapters are numbered only with prime numbers.
Great book though...

I know me too. I have to read Drums, girls, and dangerous pie. What kind of name is that
. God it's weird. This kid is annoyed by his brother and everything seems like a normal book, and then, out of nowhere, his little brother has a nosebleed and gets lukiemia. And then it gets sad. And while your thinking, oh the poor boy has lukiemia, the book suddenly randomly switches over to the fact that the main character is like addoring this girl. Then he starts talking about god alot. he's like, ok if I don't do ______ then You'll make my brother not sick, and I'm like OK. God I hate summer reading and other reading assignments. I love reading but when they assign it it completely ruins the fun of reading and turns you off to the idea.

Oh, don't get me started... I had no idea just how many weirdos were so desperate to see male game characters get together with other male characters. There have to be more than a dozen Harry Potter and Ron Weasley pairings alone on fanfiction.net. Disturbing stuff.Vesna wrote:Fanfiction.... very strange fanfiction.

Well, I wouldn't consider a leader of millions of rotting re-animated humans to be scared by the books.Dark Lord wrote:I have read most of em though I dont see why their scary
I like most anything by David Eddings, one of my favourites is "The Redemption of Althalus", by him and his brother, Leigh.
