Oh don't worry about that, the desert is full of things that will gladly eat you and your horse :)

Heh, I'd imagine that there's quite a bit of carnivorous creatures in those deserts...

...And, J'Skar? How'd you get him to follow you? Didn't he die in the Bruma Mages Guild...?

I used yet another mod - called Follow Me :D And I have not yet reached that stage in the Mages' Guild questline when J'Skar dies.

And here come more Elsweyr pics :D

Welcome to my Arabian Nights Feast http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5401/ksu ... bc641_orig
all the stuff here (apart from the grapes and an orange) comes from the Elsweyr mod. Though some of these ingredients may look like those found in Oblivion, they are actually completely new. Most of them are Khajiit sweets. The meat comes from an elephant; the wine and the pie have special Khajiit names.
A caravaner on an elephant. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5402/ksu ... f4ee2_orig
The gates of Orcrest http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5401/ksu ... 9a424_orig
A Desert Goblin. Apparently, these creatures are the local pub regulars http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4801/ksu ... b81ae_orig
A view of Orcrest. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5400/ksu ... 3efe3_orig

Thanks to all of you for the feedback!
This is a really awesome mod, and I hold its creator in highest esteem.

Here comes a bit more of Elsweyr.
Sandstorm. Talk about zero visibility! http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5103/ksu ... 8ce50_orig
Bonemold armor! Morrowind players are gonna LOVE this! (so did I, actually) http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4801/ksu ... 1c5d9_orig
The slums of Orcrest... "Glug-glug" http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5103/ksu ... 26348_orig (the fun thing about these guys is that they always do it simultaneously)

 Everyone needs this mod! I'm going to get Oblivion and a decent PC, then I will download all the mods that put actual areas in the bordering regions. Oblivion times ten! (more or less).

BTW, these are some great shots. I can never get enough of mod pics.

Look, guys, I am sorry if I am teasing you, but I simply HAVE to share these. When I saw this stuff in-game, I just drooled all over the keyboard.

A street in the city of Dune. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5403/ksu ... c5d21_orig
Dune upper gate http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5103/ksu ... 5bb8a_orig
Another Dune street http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5400/ksu ... 4512a_orig
It is looking for Sheherazade, it wonders if the outsider has seen her http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4803/ksu ... 89763_orig
Dune palace http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4801/ksu ... c8de3_orig
Palace courtyard (too bad there is a sandstorm) http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4803/ksu ... 65634_orig
A view of Dune from the palace balcony http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5402/ksu ... 05235_orig
I sought shelter from the sand in a little gallery http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5103/ksu ... 6353b_orig
This is the part when I started screaming with delight http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4801/ksu ... 713de_orig
The further I explored the castle, the more tickled my fascination with Arabian architecture got. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5401/ksu ... 013de_orig
A nifty chandeleir http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5403/ksu ... d302a_orig
A view from the dome of the throne room http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5402/ksu ... 7db22_orig
The throne. This is the part where I fell down from my own chair. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5402/ksu ... 36bdd_orig
An absolutely awesome door http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5103/ksu ... 4fed6_orig
Unfortunately, most of the places in the marvelous city of Dune were closed to the outsiders due to a political crisis, and it seemed almost completely deserted, so my party and I soon left it. After days of hiking across a barren desert, with the sand constantly in our faces, one of my companions at long last noticed some vegetation... (yeah, I am a bit of a roleplayer). http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4801/ksu ... 8e992_orig
At first we thought it was a mirage... http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5400/ksu ... 12752_orig
This cute little thing ambushed my pals and me when we were taking our long-awaited swim. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4803/ksu ... 608d8_orig
It was soon joined by its buddy and the started doing a belly dance http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5400/ksu ... 5a424_orig
Some little boats http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4802/ksu ... d064d_orig
Actually, a cowboy would have fitted here better. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5103/ksu ... d6802_orig
My, my, my! What a pleasant surprise, officer! (I honestly didn't expect to bump in one of these guys here) http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5403/ksu ... 9197f_orig
Lesson one: do not spy on bathing Spriggans. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4803/ksu ... e2beb_orig
I've never been to Colorado, but I have strong associations with the Grand Canyon. http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4803/ksu ... b2fdb_orig
And once again - a waterfall! http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/4802/ksu ... c3fe7_orig
An elephant walking around an Imperial fort. I haven't seen stuff like that ever since my trip to Morrowind! http://img-fotki.yandex.ru/get/5402/ksu ... b7e4b_orig
It has to be
The most beautiful,
The most peaceful place
I've ever been to...

What!? AWWW! Now my keyboard's all gooey (curse you drool inducing mod  )

I have to say this looks fantastic and (this is going to sound dodgy) the Spriggan one was my favourite...
BECAUSE OF THE ROCK FORMATIONS AND THE POOL! You just don't get deep, inset pools like that in Cyrodiil.
Everythings all... shallow.

Going to download this right now!

I see you forgot to get the July package, that opens Dune Palace, but they are not very happy to have visitors.
It also adds you know... life, to Dune, so get it :3

Yes, it seems I did miss it
Now that I've downloaded it I'm gonna go on a screenie spree again! :D (if you guys think I am way off-topic, I'll not post Elsweyr pics again - I have the best intentions, and I don't wanna act against the rules).

My brain hurts...too much stimulation.

@Norroen
Seeings how I created this thread, I can tell you that this is definitely what I was going for when I formed this guild. When I get a laptop, I'm going to need to get this mod!

That guy is like a ninja with that cleaver.
It seems I've formed an attachment to this town.

And the other thing I was going to say was.

QUICK LOOK AT THIS! Possibly never been done before, I have embarked on an epic journey.
Using the mod Side's Sailing Ships, I purchased a Viking Longboat from the boat shop near Anvil, took it out for a
little spin then thought.
"Hm, could I sail to Elseweyr in this? I mean, if I go around Valenwood then"
I also used WHOOSH! a mod that lets you choose speed settings in-game to help with screenshots/travelling. You get anything from 2% to 200% speed.
Here's the pics to accompany my story! Unfortunately I didn't get any of the beginning in Anvil because I hadn't thought to capture it at that point.
Heading around Valenwood, real terrain dissipating rapidly
The water is vanishing but I'm still going
And still managing to be a Photographer at the same time!
She's a good ship she is!
Attack of the LOD Terrain!
Going around Valenwood was taking too long, so I went through it.
WALL!
Oh, don't worry its only LOD.
That's real terrain again, the border of Elseweyr!
LLLLLLOOOOOOODDDDDD!!!!!!
There it is! the distinctive burnt orange of the desert ground is like music to my eyes after 20 mins (real time) of sailing.
I can't believe I'm actually making it!
That's what I just came through!
Is this the place? Is this the place?
Well there's the other ship so...
YES! SAILABLE SHIP MODS FTW!
I'm off for a pint!
I find this awesome

So, what did you all think? In the morning I will attempt to reach Leyawiin. Wish me luck :D

My only question is, are there mods for each of the bordering territories? That would make Oblivion epicly huge.

BTW, kudos. That's pretty awesome.
