Tamriel Handmade Terrain Worldspace ?

I have been highly impressed with the TES Oblivion mod of - Nehrim. The entire world has been handmade through lots of hard work. Oblivion's Tamriel uses a lot of automatically generated terrain, with exception to map locations, such as dungeon exteriors and cave exteriors.
I was looking for a mod of a handmade Tamriel worldspace, or perhaps encourage modders to undertake the project.
Furthermore, I have heard about heightmaps. Does this still include automatically generating terrain, but to particular elevations? Perhaps this would be the next best bet.
Personally though, I would much prefer a handmade Tamriel worldspace. With cool additions.
What do you guys think?

I went ahead and voted yes, even though I haven't played with any mods yet. It seems like it would be a lot of work to do it, but it seems like it would also have the potential for some awesome landscapes.
