Looking for new spuds? The Order of Large Fries is now recruiting.
We welcome all players, whether you're well seasoned, starching fresh, or looking to ketchup with the game.
We're small fries right now, but join today and help us fill the Order.
Basic Information:After nearly a year of being closed, the Order of Large Fries is now opening its doors to anybody interested in joining a guild with a silly name. The Order of Large Fries is a social guild with a Discord where all lovers of potatoes and the fantastic things that can be made from them can come together and talk while we play solo or in a group. All players are welcome here, including players looking for a new start-ch in ESO or those looking to hash together a new set of friends. Our small fry of a community is spudtacular, so don't be afraid to mash yourself in. Note: you don't actually have to like potatoes to be in this guild. Really, though... Who doesn't like potatoes?
We are currently a very small guild (around 70 members), but we already have a bank that's stocked with intricate items and many different recipes/furnishing plans, and a potato themed tabard. As the guild grows, I am personally willing to help any member who asks, whether it be with dungeons, gear, build, trials, or overland content like dailies or public dungeons. I have a Grand Master Crafter available for guild members (9 traits on everything; many known motifs and furnishing plans), along with a house with all default crafting stations (including jewelry and transmute) and two target skeletons (a 3 mil and a 6 mil dummy) for rotation practice.
My intention is to add events as the guild gains more members. I would like to take two ideas from the PC NA UESP guild, and those would be Dungeon Help Night and Trial Night. Once the Order of Large Fries has enough interested members, I would schedule at least one Dungeon Help Night and one Trial Night per week, depending on what times the majority of members prefer (currently excluding Sunday and Wednesday nights). Dungeon Help Night is intended for people to gain experience in running 4 man content, farm gear, or even just to burn through a ton on Enlightenment by doing random normals. Trial Night would be one night per week where we pick a trial (it could be vet or normal) and run that, either for clears, gear farming, the coffer, or just practice. Any trial attempted on vet would have a 2 hour time limit placed on it in order to prevent anybody in the group from burning out.
On top of that, I would plan two or more events a month. Things like world boss runs, dolmen/geyser runs, public dungeon runs, hide and seek in a guild member's house, costume contests, and so on. The goal of everything would be to have fun. We are, after all, gathered to be social and enjoy ourselves. Hide and seek, costume contests, or similar events would have prizes. Prizes could be gold or items (like furnishings, gear, motifs, and recipes).
The Order of Large Fries is an Ebonheart Pact guild, so should a PvP event occur, we would primarily be fighting for the Pact. Aldmeri Dominion and Daggerfall Covenant players are welcome as well, and our Discord has special PvP only voice and text channels that have been locked so that only people with the Alliance role of their choice can access them. Those who choose to use the Discord can message me their preferred Alliance and I will add the role to grant access to the PvP channels. No spies allowed.
Guild Ranks:-
Bad Potato is our lowest official rank. It is intended as a "pending moderation" rank where the member in question has misbehaved enough that they are at risk of being kicked from the guild.
-
Spuds is the second lowest rank. This is the rank granted automatically to new members. As it takes time to get to know people, Spuds will only be able to talk in guild chat and read member notes.
-
Tater Tots have been in the guild for a minimum of two weeks. As we have gotten to know them, they have gained the ability to invite new members, claim resources/keeps in Cyrodiil, deposit items in the bank, and sell items on the store. If Tater Tots desire something out of the bank, they can message anybody of the Crispy Fries rank or higher for the item(s) assuming the request is reasonable.
-
Crispy Fries are members who have full bank access and the ability to edit member notes. In order to get to this rank, Tater Tots must message @Mauin for an interview to determine whether or not bank access should be granted. This is to prevent the bank from being robbed.
-
Seasoned Curlies are the lowest ranking officers. They are essentially guild moderators who help out during events. Most will know quite a bit of the game and can help out if they aren't busy.
-
Poutine is the full officer rank. Along with guild moderation and helping out during events, Poutines will be able to promote/demote members as needed. These will be among the most experienced members of the guild, so feel free to ask for help if they are not busy.
Guild Rules:Please be aware that the Order of Large Fries is primarily intended to be a social guild. It is not a trading guild, and as such will never have a trader. Dungeon and trial events are a distinct possibility for the future as something I'd like to do, but they are not the primary focus of the guild. The same applies to PvP. We have joined under our fried potato banner to be social and have fun. Being casual is perfectly acceptable. As far as rules go, members are expected to respect their guildmates. You are free to curse if you like (you can go nuts on Discord, but I would appreciate it if you used some control in-game), but please keep politics and religion out of chat. Do not bash other members for their personal choices (this includes offline stuff and online stuff). If problems arise between members, please talk to me about it and we will see if things can be sorted out. If a solution is not possible, then the ignore feature can be used.
The Discord has its own set of rules. On Discord, the primary thing to keep in mind is that using the voice channels will require having a push-to-talk key set up. You will be automatically muted upon entry until one is set up. Members are also expected to show respect to others in their voice channel, and as part of doing that, I would ask that members please try to avoid talking over one another.
If you are interested in joining, please mail @Mauin in-game and I will send invites when I have the time.
Do you want fries with that?
