I am in Toronto with @Wicked_Shifty! The wifi in our hotel room is beyond terrible, so we've come down to the lobby to post   Shifty says, "Without internet, we have had to find other ways to amuse ourselves. Surprisingly, the TV hasn't been turned on yet."

We've managed to find the two locations in the room where the hotel wifi isn't appalling, but downloading the ESO patch is nightmarish. It's coming through at dialup speed. 18% right now and I had the Launcher running right from the start of the maintenance window on Monday. It might just be done by the time we're ready to leave  .

Shifty and I went to the Ripley's Aquarium of Canada where we saw a large number of fish, and also some crustaceans and cephalopods.  We saw real-life versions of the Wolf Eel which took Martin two days to catch in ESO! I shook my fist at them.  Then Richard arrived and we went to a friends' house to geek out at their collection of board and card games.  Today we went to Toronto Zoo. I have finally finished downloading ESO and updating my addons on Minion, but it is 1.39 am and I am being dragged off to bed. The hardship! |
