Well, in original game all unnamed vampire NPC's arent technically vampires. They have vampiric look, but they dont have any vampiric bonuses, spells and even Porphyric Hemophilia. They have the same init script on them as the named vampires have and their variables indicate this script was executed for them, BUT no effect is present. This bug is confirmed for Vanilla + Tribunal + Bloodmoon. Maybe someone knows how to fix this problem? This is not an ordinary bug. It looks like its hidden somewhere deep. |

I've definitely gotten porphyric hemophilia from an un-named vampire. Note there is a bug with vampires where seeing a vampire, saving then reloading, will cause you to be unable to contract hemophilia from it. To avoid this, just encounter the vampire and immediately catch hemophilia from it without reloading. I'm unable to post the exact link since this forum is blocking me, but look at the video "Morrowind NPCs spread disease" by corprus hunk on youtube, specifically at 5m 17s in the video. |
