Hi everyone, first of all my name is Espolones, a dude that played elder scrolls many times through all his life.

Anyways, i just wanted to revive the old days and play Morrowind again. You see, over the time i learned how to Roleplay my characters instead of looking all the time for ways "max/min" them or get them "overpowered".

So i just wanted to make sure of this :

If i make, say, an Orc Battlemage (or whatever race that is INITIALLY not that good with intelligence or anything magic related) does it really matter at the end of the game or at the point where you just can get any attributes you want like "fortify magicka"? Having said that, i really like the custom option to create your characters instead of the Template/Archetypes, can i just put whatever i feel like without the fear of gimping my character?

I really don't care about having to spent like 10 hours to even get decent in combat or whatever, as far as i remember, even with the most OP build you could always get wrecked by weak mobs at the start of a game if you're not careful.

In my experience, as long as your don't spread yourself to thin and try to cover every skill, you should be fine. An Altmer Tank, a Bosmer Beserker, or a Orc Battlemage are all combat capable, it just might take a little longer or a have a lower ceiling.

Gracious thanks for your words, I've just about reached the same point!

My opinion has always been, play the game, do not play it beforehand. Trying to evaluate.... blaah-blaah, only leads to frustration. One day at a time. Enjoy it! You can't beat it unless you meet it.
