My Level 16 Dunmer Adventurer (Light Armor, Destruction, Long-blade, Block) finally found a place he can call home: The bunk room in the Balmora Fighters Guild. I was at max encumbrance and was at the point where I had to just start littering the floor with my equipment--I didn't know which containers were "safe" to put things in--then I read on UESP that most containers are safe, including those at the guilds, so I just decided to move into the FG. I might get a different place eventually, but it was nice offloading all that alchemy equipment and excess potions. Now my character is spry and (relatively) light, ready to grab some more loot. I then used Recall to return to my Mark in Ald'Ruhn to start hoofing it to Malacath's shrine to collect on my bargain with him. Several Cliff Racers raced their last race in the shadow of the Ghostfence on that day, I can tell you. I'm about halfway to Malacath's at this point.
Speaking of the FG, a funny thing happened there (Balmora branch) when I was 1st or 2nd level: The Brotherhood assassin attacked me there and everyone just stood around and stared at us fight each other. Way to back me up, brothers! Does the "Fighters" Guild ever actually fight? :x

Well, not really today, but in the past couple of days I've started up an Altmer Mage with the plans of beating it, hopefully sometime in May, because I've beaten both Oblivion and Skyrim in May. He's done some good questing, got his way to Evoker in the Mage's Guild before stopping the taking of quests there, I'm planning on doing a bit of work with the Imperial Cult, and maybe work my way over to Telvanni areas and joining them, and probably rise up a bit in that house (and in levels) before tackling a bit of the main quest.

I've also made a bunch of spells for training purposes, "Z's <insert spell type here> Practice." It's kind of nice to just do some training that doesn't rely on a bunch of coin or something that wants to eat my face in. Of course, I should really spend some time building up my Unarmored Skill some more. Shield spells always seem to run out at the worse time...

Today I hunted through a daedra-infested Keep. I came across a locked chest in a dark corner. Unlocking the chest with a spell, I opened it and saw an enchanted silver spear. I thought, this looks very similar to the silver spear I have spare in my inventory in case I come across a ghost and have no magicka left. Then I looked back at my inventory - and my silver spear was gone! Then I found the corpse of a petty thief stuck on an inaccessible ledge, with a stolen key in his pockets for which I could find no lock.
In short, I have had a very interesting day in Morrowind!

I met with Morrowind's resident M'aiq just now. First time I've met the "original" one. It was fun just hanging out with the silly khajiit.

I finally got Morrowind re-installed on my new PC a while back and decided to roll a new character and start fresh in anticipation of ESO:Morrowind. Went for a dark elf rogue type.
Currently hanging around/stealing everything not nailed down in Seyda Neen.

Starting a new character - Nammu the ba*stard. An Ashlander by birth who was adopted into House Redoran by none other than the Archmaster himself. However, Nammu was treated no better than a slave for most of his life, and must now prove himself in order to rise in the ranks of the Great House Redoran. His adoptive "father", Bolvyn Nevim, continues to look down on him and most likely will never treat him any better. Nammu, who is ignorant of his Ashlander background, may one day have it revealed to him. How he'll handle that knowledge we await to see.

I got my girlfriend to play recently while I watch. She's only semi familiar with Skyrim, so it's interesting.

Today she enters Fort Pelagiad, and sees the Imperial tapestry:

GF:Skyrim thingie!
Me: that's the Imperial legion banner
GF: Skyrim thingie!!

Then she starts scoping out the shrine and sees the gold piles.

GF: mine, thank you...
Me: you know those are offerings-
GF: yep, to me.

Ah, a budding thief in the making. Brings a tear to the eye.
