I ran around stark naked, or at least having the appearance thereof. Apparently, if you have just a belt or a piece of jewelry equipped, NPCs don't notice that you're otherwise naked. (This is especially funny with the Better Bodies mod.) The practical reason for this though is that I'm once again playing as a werewolf, and it's easier to not have to re-equip all that apparel.

I also discovered that the diseased rats in the dungeon room at Fort Firemoth offer free training services. They'll raise your armor skills faster than any trainer, for a nominal fee of a crapload of healing potions and a few armorer's hammers. They're very professional about it too, always eager to rush up and greet any client who enters their dungeon. This is the best idea I've come up with yet, although that could just be the Witbane talking.

o.O You could add that in the Fort Firemoth page in the wiki. That's surprising. Best not kill every rat I see.

As I usually do when I begin a Morrowind file, I stole everything I wanted from the Census and Excise Office, including the key to the warehouse. I gave Fargoth his ring, sold all the stolen items from the Office to Arrille, broke into the warehouse and stole some armor, weapons, and alchemy ingredients, then sold all of that stuff to Arrille as well. I bought an almost full set of chitin armor and a chitin short bow, as well as a few hundred chitin arrows and some spare iron arrows. I found the tax collector's body, killed Foryn Gilnith, and collected 500 free gold from that dumb bald guy in the Office. I proceeded to accept a few potions from the tax collector's girlfriend before I murdered her, and collected all of her items in her lighthouse. I sold all of those items and went to accept the quest to steal Fargoth's stuff. I stole his items and made off with a nice profit, then proceeded to start on the path the wiki recommends on that one page I forget the name (the one that leads to some diamonds, free gold, that ebony mine for House Hlaalu, and the Mentor's Ring).

All in all, a normal start to a fantastic game.

X.X I almost never remember to do all that. I also can't be bothered to find the murderer of that processus Vitellius guy, so I never do that.

I've memorized all the stuff for those quests. I've also memorized this one guide for an ultimate glitch exploitation run, but I never finished it because I was playing it on Morrowind for the Xbox (on an Xbox 360), and that disc is screwed up pretty badly, so whenever I went near the Zainab camp my game would freeze and I couldn't finish.

P.S. When I say "ultimate glitch exploitation run" I mean it takes advantage of the soultrap glitch to give you permanent bound weapons and armor, extremely high stats, extremely high health, and eventually extremely high skills (once you get all of the Sanguine items, which is usually where I stopped). It also uses alchemy to make potions worth like 10,000 gold each, resulting in millions of munnys.

I once glitched through the door to Dagoth Ur because my speed was like 400 and fought him ahead of schedule. I had to reset my game.

It's kinda fun, but it gets really boring.

Plus, you don't get to enjoy all the fun things about Morrowind. I prefer experiencing the feeling of progress rather than just exploiting glitches and killing Dagoth Ur in like 15 minutes.

Of course, I agree. However, I couldn't resist making a new save and trying it.
I didn't really play Morrowind very seriously until I got the GOTY edition for PC, anyways.

Today I undressed in front of a weird Imperial who would sponsor me in House Hlaalu. I'm scared!

Then I realized I can't gain more ranks in the House at the moment and went back to the main quest. I started exploring some dunmer stronghold for the Ashlanders and found some amazing equipment. Indoril, Glass, Ebony... oh my!

I went on dungeon crawling and went out with 163 raw glass and 500k worth in equipment, plus that pesky glass helm needed to complete the second full set.

BREAKING NEWS

Sadrith Mora is currently without a single guard, after several Telvanni guard bodies were found stripped of their 100 Enchanting point helms. Authorities have offered no explanations, but are seeking a female bosmer who had been seen insulting several guards shortly before the bodies were discovered. The Telvanni council is currently recruiting new guards, and expects the guards to be back at full manpower within a few days.

In other news, somebody is watching me. I can tell.

I just did a few chores for House Telvanni today. Still, having to end the slave rebellion in a violent way is going to traumatize my Argonian.

Snagged a Golden Saint soul and did some enchanting with it. Soon there will be an assault on Dagoth Ur. :)

I raided a Daedric Ruin not too far from Suran and gathered myself a nice collection of Daedric Weaponry.
Also got Tanya up to level 20. Starting to feel like I should continue with the main quest, but I'm perfectly happy hopping across Vvardenfell.

Huh. No wonder my Acrobatics skill is higher than the others.

Resisting the urge to reroll and do it all again...

I grew a little bored of exploring Vvardenfell, so I decided that I would finally go and explore Solstheim.
I wound up joining the East Empire Company and have started working on Raven Rock.

Dealing with that Nord at the door was a pain considering my hand-to-hand is only 7 and I didn't want to kill the guy. But I got it done... Eventually.

Yep, I rerolled and am doing the game again. Couldn't resist. I wanted different skills and... oh who am I kidding, mostly I just wanted to do the main quest again.

Downloaded Better Bodies and Better Heads earlier, so I spent some time testing that out.

Then I randomly created an Argonian character. Slashes-All-The-Foes... Or something like that. I kinda forgot.
But she (he?) did some dungeon diving before settling down at the Cozy House in Pelagiad.

I walked from Balmora to Seyda Neen, and walked from Seyda Neen to Vivec. Along the way I detoured to Dren Plantation. That resulted in a lot of frustration and deaths by my character.

I ran around and became Hortator for the three Great Houses, then ran off to the Urshilaku Camp and was named Urshilaku Nerevarine.
Now I've just got to convince the other three tribes. Eventually. I might do some more exploring.

Well mostly the last week I have been stealing everyone's lamps, candles, and pillows, and putting them in my own house. It's kinda funny though when you get caught stealing a pillow or lamp that is worth nothing and have to start off from where you saved otherwise that dumb pillow will turn into hundreds of thousands of gold and eventually have my character level down so much from jail time it would be useless. I plan on getting all of the glass armor and weapons soon though so that will be fun.

I started a new character a couple of days ago because the save for the original is acting funny (depending on how funny you find getting stuck in the middle of nowhere stark naked). This one is also a Dunmer, though I cannot remember her name.

Decided to go for a medium armor character. Still using my preferred long blade and spear, though I'm also giving destruction a shot. Along with Restoration and Alchemy.
I've apparently managed to get her to level 20 by wandering up to Khuul and back to Seyda Neen. Then off to Ald'Ruhn to sell the potions I collected. And Balmora, actually, because no merchant has enough gold. I made 4-5 thousand from the potions.

Not sure if I can be bothered to do the main quest with this character or not. I'm having fun just wandering around and exploring. Might try doing the Mages Guild or Fighters Guild or something. Some sort of faction. I don't really know what I'm doing right now.
