When the game releases, I want the Aldmeri Dominion to come out strong. Know that this isn't the Thalmor's faction, the elves in this time period were very peaceful and want the best for tamriel. This guild is perfect for the loyal member of the Aldmeri Dominion.

Anyone of the Dominion will be welcome, as long as you are determined, social, and have the mindset of being the best the Aldmeri Dominion can offer. The guild will be known as The Aldmeri Dominion Elites. We would be war and politically based, meaning it would be more than beneficial to have our future emperor within the team. For those of you going full-out when the games releases and if you are of the Aldmeri Dominion, sign up here and let us govern the Aldmeri Dominion to victory!

Since this is a guild with high expectations / high leveled players, the guild will be very involved with PVP for high ranking on the leaderboards. We would also support PVE and questing for leveling (if it turns out to be a good way to level.) Role Playing would also be acceptable, since being the Elites of the faction, a Council of serious players to govern the guild would be in order, to keep fresh players within the team. Guild leaderboards and involvement would lead a player to advancement in the guild, with elections for emporer (if TESO allows that).

Generally, we'd like to have a very social, interactive and helping guild aimed for the top, and to regain the Aldmeri glory!

What would you say the focus of the guild will be? (PvE, PvP, Both, RP, etc.) (PvP is obvious with the goal of Emperor)
What experience do you have in MMOs/Multiplayer games?
What kind of command structure do you have in mind?
What kind of role/playstyle do you prefer?

You should keep all of that information in the OP as well, for easy retrieval. The more information people have, the better it will be for everyone going forward.

I'd like to see guilds have a more major role in the outcome of victory in PVP... Since TESO made us aware of 200 man battles, a guild could be running around within the ranks waving their flag about, letting everyone know they were a part of it. For all you WoW players, we know that pretty much everyone has a guild, but rarely are the guilds famous. It would be really cool to see something like this.

So the aim is to be the top PvP guild of the Dominion as well as having a strong emphasis on all PvE content that helps the war effort in Cyrodiil

Precisely. and if you mean my experience - PVP a ton in wow pretty much, lvl 90's blah blah blah same MMO experience as most.

Command structure? Perhaps something like the council/leader calls the shots, plans events for massive attacks to capture objectives to slowly get to the heart of cyrodil, claiming the throne. I don't want to publicly get too involves.. Cant let the enemy hear the plans

Role and playstyle - such as having a pvp/pve group and a political council group to perform above contents.

Maybe the guild would be comparable to less severe dictatorship... If the Guild was the Dictator and the faction was the population. The guild would be an influence, a positive influence.

So advancement will be earned by leadership qualities in relation to organizing groups/strike teams and dedication to the cause

I think "Political Party" would be close, without describing the war front (Like more noble privateers...)

I've played through all the classes except warlock and shaman. Although, we know the class system will be much different now as you can pretty much do anything. Since im going to be an Altmer, I think im gonna stick with the script and me a mage type character, maybe some melee added in there. Battlegrounds have been my favourite, as it's the closest thing we can get to our big 200 man battles we will soon be exposed to. Mainly played as dps, tanking is also fun and currently giving healing a try.

Could Ancotar Direnni join you as long as you don't stop him from robbing the other factions? I'll be a tank/dps wizard blow them up then hack them all to pieces and I think it would work best with a voted council you give a idea they filter it with group taxes of course.

I seriously doubt it. We know virtually nothing of the details of any of the gameplay systems, let alone something that specific. Best to wait a bit before making too many concrete plans, I think.

Well it can always be changed. I threw this idea out in hope that it would work with the game.

No... Why would you have to, it's not like it's mandatory - it's just a way of being better up to date. Most MMO guilds have their own website anyways whether it be a Facebook page or twitter.

Announcements will also be on the guild page in game

If you've played world of Warcraft they will probably use a similar way - which is an in game guild page.

I'm joining the Aldmeri Dominion. Im being an Altmer Wizard Lord and I want the Dominion to dominate all of Tamriel. Destroy the Covenant and the Pact and take our rightful rule over Tamriel and take the Ruby Throne

This looks like an interesting guild. I'm not 100% sure I'm getting the game [right away], but I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.
If/when I do play, I think I'll be a spellsword female Altmer. Also, I have no MMO experience so far (though I might play a little of my cousin's Guild Wars 2 by the time ESO comes out), so I hope that's not a bad thing.

Man its been awhile since I last checked this out... Plans are still in action though, so far the game looks pretty cooool.

I agree it would be cool to do something like this. Although I think it would be kind of cool if the guild contains the best, most dedicated the Dominion has to offer. Instead of a bunch of people who remain at a low level and play the game once a week. Although all would be welcome, I think the weakest links would just get weeded out in time. It would be great if the guild wasn't so big so that everyone knew eachother.
