I was using the uesp eso map to do my crafting surveys. I have it open on my older macbook using Chrome. All the icons for the various features are visible, but the background map isnt. No topographic features, no roads, no rivers. I’ve tried closing the browser and reopening the window and restarting the computer. Any ideas?

Only things I can think of are (1) is Chrome up-to-date; (2) is there a permissions (security) problem preventing the page from loading/displaying the background; and (3) have you tried using the + and - buttons to zoom in and out to see if that helps?

Edit: Also, which zone is this? Is it happening for all zones, or just certain ones?

Edit #2: Also, does it wirk correctly using a different browser? I remember from when I was taking online classes in Python that the instructors said that different browsers can vary greatly as far as which sets of features they support, and how well, and how a specific browser was best to use for their class. Maybe the Chrome browser doesn't (fully) support something that the UESP map relies upon?

I have used the ESO map in the UESP Wiki for some time now without any problems. As I tried to open the map today, I get the error message as follows:

TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'x')

Is something wrong with the page or maintenance being performed? I find no response online to any kind of issue so not sure what is going on.

The last few days I'm been having the same problem.

Something went wrong.
TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'x')

That links produces the same error message.

Try Ctrl + F5 to force reload the page and see if the error is still there.

For me that worked.
