This is just a thread I am starting to get stir some talk about the loyalty program they just started for The Elder Scrolls Online. (ESO) I am a little confused as to why the PC version has 3 expansions already and a loyalty program, yet the console versions are still not out.

I'm a little worried/disappointed/(possibly going to be angry) that I'm going to miss out on getting extras from the loyalty program, simply because i haven't been subscribed to ESO, because it is not yet been released for my console yet, I KNOW that i would have been subscribed this whole time, if the game was out yet.

I guess i want to know that I'm not gonna miss out just because i didn't buy the PC version and subscribe, which i have no computer capable of playing.

I think it would be wonderful if they gave some kind of loyalty reward for those, like me and a lot of others i am sure, that pre-ordered the console version a long time ago and still have not canceled the pre-order, despite having the game delayed for this long.

Just raising questions and hoping for answers.

(P.S)- First forum post, please don't chew me out. haha

Hello and welcome :)

Your concerns are understandable, but I'm sure they will offer plenty of different rewards and gifts for console members once it is released. They've stayed on top of promotions, if nothing else.

My guess is that Console players will be eligible for the same rewards once they meet the same requirements. Obviously, Console players aren't eligible for something that has a 3-month paid subscription requirement at this point in time, but that does not imply that they wont be after 3 months.

Like you, I'm waiting for the console version of ESO to come out, as my computer also would be currently unable to run it. I don't already have the game pre-ordered, but I feel the same way about all the waiting and uncertainty.

As for your idea, it certainly sounds like a very reasonable thing for Zenimax to do - give some kind of reward to appease the people who pre-ordered the game and were forced to sit through such a lengthy delay. I could definitely see something like a free 1- or 2-month subscription on top of the free first month of play. Whether it would be just for pre-orderers or for all console buyers (as a sort of incentive to actually get the game) is not part of my guess. Either way, it's definitely something that they will have to consider doing, especially the longer it takes for the game to come out. Even EA let all SimCity owners download a free game in apology after its awful launch, so Zenimax will surely have some sort of promotion.

But honestly, since TES VI is not even a glimmer on the horizon yet, I'm just looking forward to something new for me to do in the Elder Scrolls universe, regardless of when it comes out.
