Did our spells hit?

Ah damn, I forgot to write that. No, the vampire stopped and so the spells narrowly missed.

Holy crap. ._. I'm back and I assume Valentia's with the others.

Well, after a month-long pause I think it's time to get the ball rolling again, no? I'm sorry about the lack of activity, but moving countries is tough.

Here's a little summary for everyone in case you're out of the loop:

Gudrun arrived in Suran and planned to start her search by splitting up. She and the hired muscle would go in one direction, while Arellius and Per would start their search in Suran. However, that plan was abandoned, as Gudrun realised that interesting things were afoot in the little town. Soon she found Llevana and her new friends in the guardhouse.

A little while before, Llevana and co. had found all the guards gruesomely murdered. Before they could make any of that development they were ambushed by Gudrun and co.

After a chaotic battle, all of the hired muscle Gudrun had brought with her lay dead or dying. Several of the fighters had made their way outside, while a handful (Sinayil, Llevana, Llela, Raylis, Alindrel and Shakh) remained inside. Gudrun, backed into a corner, unleashed the frenzied vampire Aythu.

The newcomer Sathesi lured the vampire outside, with the intention of weakening it by exposing it to direct sunlight. Sadly, the effect didn't tip the scale as she had hoped, and the vampire rages on. Meanwhile, Arrelius has to stand by and watch as a horde of masked and armoured men murder everyone in the town; quickly moving towards the guardhouse.

CAN THIS BUNCH OF COURAGEOS AMATEURS STOP AYTHU'S RAMPAGE AND BRING GUDRUN TO JUSTICE? CAN THEY ESCAPE THE CLUTCH OF THE MALICIOUS BATALLION MARCHING THEIR WAY? FIND OUT, IN THIS MONTH'S ISSUE OF TAMRIELIC ADVENTURES.

Dammit, sorry, bear with me guys. I thought all that happened before she dodged etc.

I'm making a lot of decidedly negative assumptions in choosing my position. 1: Leaping out onto the coastal waters was too dangerous giving the probability of rocks. 2: There's no silt strider located directly across from his position. 3: The tree(s) in the courtyard corner where he is crouched won't conceal him to any degree, and hence are negligible. 4: The town is bigger than the map makes it out to be. And whilst not an assumption, per se 5: Arellius holds an uncharacteristical loyalty to Gudrun for some unidentifiable reason that I'm leaving up to A) Lust or B) Some subconscious patriarchal, chauvinistical pridal tendency type [&@%!].

Ignoring future character longevity I could've simply leaped into the waters and been ten kilometres away from the conflict by now.
