Fornar didn't know what to do but he summoned a bound sword and held it at the ready, not wanting to enter the guardhouse.

Niralie's first instinct when the idiot waitress moved toward the door was to put as much space between herself and the vampire as possible. The farther away she was, the more spells she would have time to cast, and the better her chances of survival would be. She turned and fled from the door.

Fornar realised that Niralie had the best idea and he moved alongside Niralie.

Sorry guys, I've been nearly clueless as to what has been going on for the most part. I do however know that Shakh is without a weapon and there is a vampire.

Shakh acknowledged the vampire's presence, and not caring for the fact that Gudrun issued an order towards him, looked around for a temporary weapon. He found a Steel Greatsword on one of the guards' bodies, picked it up, and started swinging for the Vampire. Mara would want such a vile creature to be destroyed, and that is what he intended to do.

Guys, if you're not sure what's going on, don't post. Ask me or someone else first so that you can make an accurate post.

Isn't that godmoding, Ebony? As the guard may not have been using a greatsword.

I don't know what to do now.

Ah okay. But I added the whole "agent of Mara" part for the reasoning. Otherwise, Shakh would've probably ran the other way.
And I don't think that is godmoding since I didn't really control a character other than mine.

But we don't know if they had greatswords on them or not and twas goddmoding as you gave them a greatsword without Mars's permission

Psyfalia followed Niralie and hoped that the vampire would not focus on them.

Finding a simple weapon is fine. Just no super-quality or magical stuff.

Katien squealed as the dunmer kicked open the door, reading a spell for herself, one that would fail most likely. That was before the girl threw a stone at the vampire and then Katien began to scramble away, a different spell ready. Command Humaniod. "N-N." She muttered, the magic swirling in her hand as she took aim for the vampire, readied it, and unleash the magic, hoping to send it square into it's back, one and it even then may not be strong enough.

Which direction are the soldiers coming from, Mars?

Also, just to everyone, since our characters aren't all directly in one spot anymore, we should probably start remembering to put "Inside the Guardhouse" and such again in order to make it a little easier to follow.

@Ebony: The vampire is outside. You're now alone in the guardhouse with Gudrun, Raylis, Sinyail, Alindrel, Llela, and Llevana. You have to decide if Shakh will side with Gudrun or not.

@Alarra: Er, I hadn't given it much thought, honestly. Let's say from the opposite direction of where Niralie is moving right now.

@Velvet: reminding you that you have to make a decision.

@Everyone: Alarra is right, please don't forget to label your post with your character's name and/or location. It'll be even more important later on when we'll be split and in very different areas.

Outside the guardhouse

The vampire was naturally much faster than Sethesi. If no one intervened it would be on her soon.

Inside the guardhouse

Gudrun cursed under her breath and backed away. She kept throwing glances at Shakh, waiting to see who he would finally side with. He certainly seemed slow when making decisions.

Outside the guardhouse
Aenar whistled loudly to gain the vampires attention. "Hey! Over here!" He yelled waving one hand, while gripping the handle of his sword with the other.

Katien's spell was not powerful enough to affect the vampire, seeing as the creature was at the height of its power.

I'll have Shakh side against Gudrun. He needs a weapon, and he doesn't like those who are uncaring in his eyes.

Uncaring? If we were uncaring you're character would have been in Aetherius, not Suran Guardhouse.

Outside the Guardhouse

Already exhausted from previous events, Niralie made it as far as the bottom of the steps leading to the guardhouse yard before she stopped, breathing hard. She leaned with one hand against the wall, and looked back. From here she could still see most of what was unfolding in front of the guardhouse. Seeing Aenar's attempt to distract the vampire, Niralie charged up an ice spike spell and threw it at where she predicted the vampire to be in the next moment, expecting the creature to at least slow slightly, if nothing else, at Aenar's words.

Well, she barely left the guardhouse, but I'm guessing that means they're coming from the southeast part of town. That would make the most sense, since as I said in the GRDT, it said that the noise was coming from behind Arellius, and the soldiers were described as being outside of town yet at that point.

Psyfalia also reached the bottom of the stairs leading to the gatehouse and cast a lighting bolt at the same spot as Niralie after seeing her aim for that spot.

I was waiting on the moves the others made before attempting something myself. That and I was unsure which direction the troop was advancing from - though, from what you've said seems like we're all being cornered so escaping is off the table:/

Arellius Afer III - Atop Dresele's, Suran

Arellius continued to glance anxiously between the advancing troop and the advancing vampire and then, even more uncertainly, into the long drop into the sea. All options looked, quite frankly, [&@%!]. His earlier plan - playing both the survivors and the troops against each - had been disrupted by that [&@%!]. They'd - the survivors and the troop, that was - need to meet before (or at) his position for that. The rate in which the troop was advancing and the survivors were dispatching however was making that seem incredibly unlikely. One last peer into the town's centre told him he was out of time. The mercenary swore finally coming to a decision.

Dual blades clenched tightly in hand he leapt off the roof and onto the guardhouse courtyard, hitting the floor with a low-pitched thud. It was only luck that'd keep his presence unnoticed as he crouched low, observing. He'd make a break when the troop too made it into the court yard - survivors would make good distractions, he rationalized.

Outside the guardhouse

The vampire stopped and turned to find the one who had shouted. The pause gave it enough time to realize that it was standing in the sun. The lust for blood had drowned out everything, but hearing words had yanked it somewhat back into a thinking state. The vampire still had a murderous disposition towards every living thing around it, but it recognized that it wouldn't win if it stayed in the sun. With a hiss it began running back towards the guardhouse.

Hidden:
The vampire will be running straight for the door. Play your cards right and you can use this to your advantage, IE intercept it with a sudden strike.

Inside the guardhouse

Gudrun's expression had turned sour; very sour. She was alone, her foes were numerous. There was no more time for games; now was the time to fight like a cornered animal. She got to her feet.

Llevana was also standing now, a few steps behind the Nord. Gudrun saw her from the corner of her eye. Without a second's hesitation she turned around and jumped at the Dunmer, drawing a dagger from one of the many hidden spots in her belt. She held it with the pointy side down, her intention was to stab. Llevana tried to dodge the attack, and though it was a feeble attempt, it saved her life. Instead of hitting her in the face, the dagger burried itself into her left shoulder. Llevana screamed, but didn't fall. The fear of death was upon her. In a superhuman effort fueled by the will to survive she rammed her head into Gudrun's stomach, sending the Nord stumbling backwards.

Gudrun likewise didn't fall. Instead she drew another dagger, intending to finish her mark off for good.

Sinyail summoned all the magicka he had left a put it into a single bolt of fire aimed at Gudrun, charging in to use the sword he had picked up. If nothing else, he hoped it would serve as a distraction long enough to save Llevana from Gudrun's next attempt.
