Great idea, Philip & Arya, musical duo. She can be the Gartfunkel to my Paul Simon, the Ryan Lewis to my Macklemore. She's important and does a lot of work behind the scenes but I get all the credit.

TA2: So, how would you guys feel about a split OP? I feel that since we have a split story now, it would be better organization to simply split stuff up and keep each story route separate.

TA2: Isn't Rook's group still set in the last act and days behind?

TA2: That's why I suggest this. If the two groups were to ever meet, I believe it would be lore-appropriate to initiate a dragon break.

TA2: If a dragon break does ever end up happening in TA, please alert me so that I can throw a party.

TA2: But what if we're the dragon break?

TA2: Any number of cop-outs available to cover the time gap. Maybe the cave group will get lost for a few days while traveling, maybe something makes time move slower in the Dwemer ruin, etc.

TA2: Yeah, but dragon breaks are fun.

TA2: As far as I understand it, the proximate cause of most if not all Dragon Breaks are the heroes of prophecy, the letters written in uncertainty whose choices may serve to tie linear time into a tangled knot. So not to buzzkill, but for the Dragon Break scenarios, who is the hero here? Or heroes? What would be the trigger? Was Maurzol dying really more than reality could handle?

TA2: That and an Elder Scroll being used as if it was a mere scroll tends to cause it.

TA2: Actually TLD, I don't believe either known Dragon Break in the lore was the result of the use of an Elder Scroll. The Middle Dawn happened when the Alessian Order tried to screw with Akatosh, and the second happened when the hero of Daggerfall activated the second Numidium. The time wound in Skyrim is a dragon break-like event, but has not been actually identified as such.

I believe ME is right, at least partially, about the need of heroes in such an event (The Middle Dawn didn't explicitly involve any heroes as far as we know). However, as explained by Uriel, the protagonists of the Threads of the Webspinner portion of the story are prophetic heroes.

A Dragon Break is just time becoming non-linear; so hell, the Dragon Break might have already happened; at the shipwreck.

TA2: I'm still favor that the cave group may find themselves trapped/lost for a few days down in the depths.

Then again, depending of 'if' we ever reach the surface.. Traveling to the next destination may take longer than expected >_> so roughly estimating.. That would put them in line with the Windhelm seige. And if we must travel once more.. Then we'll be on par with Riften, giving us more than enough leeway in the difference

But ya, separate OPs and PC list-post wouldn't be so bad. It would allow each DM to manage their side easier, and free up space for the other
