Yeah, Xiao wasn't able to figure out what those gestures were supposed to mean. Could anyone?

GWN: I concur, Kerr. Rick has repeatedly been like "what?". Beyond shaking her head, pointing a gun at Rook's PC, and opening her mouth to show her tongue stump, Rick hasn't understood a goddamn thing Ashley has tried to say. Try basic gestures, and you can do without the explanation as to what they mean. In fact, it'll make for better writing if you don't explain them--write out the gestures, and then read them to yourself. Do you think the average person would correctly interpret your meaning based on that? If so, good, it works. If not, try again.

I forget what exactly the gestures were that Rick had made to Lucas when he was going to free Anderson, but I made them fairly simplistic. Something like gesturing to himself and outside, indicating he'd have to leave the truck...a finger across the throat to indicate he might have to kill them. And holding his wrists close (as though they were bound), and then forcing them apart, to indicate he was going to free Anderson from captivity.

...Also, is Xiao offering us the pistol she has in the locker, or just noting for us that it's there, in case we/she needs it at some point? I can ask for clarification IC, if that's how you wanna play it.

In other news, while it looks pretty, the way the documentation post is a complete pain in the ass to manage, and it is pushing the 60,000 character limit despite efforts to limit its length, so I'm pretty much going to be completely replacing the post's character documentation with links to other sheets. Dead characters are being relocated to a different place, or just being eliminated completely.

I'm having trouble sleeping, tired and played waaaay too much Mass Effect of late.

TA2: IDK dude, the guild wanted him to get the pirates to mosey of to somewhere else. Instead he cut off the head of the operation and effectively ceased their operations in the waters of Skyrim, Morrowind, and Solstheim, eliminating a lot of competition in the process. I wouldn't call that an embarrassing job.

He gained a bit of notoriety, sure, but that's lagniappe.

DAR: Post up. Boss fight time!

Mira will have to decide what to do. I'll tell you nothing of what Revas' reaction may be.

DAR: I shall do what i always do in the game. *rage quits and starts a new PC* Nah, i don't want to lose Mira thus speech shall be used when i've had some sleep. Do it now, i will fail and i would prefer not to set the new record fo most amount of PCs lost within the space of 6 months and 4 of them being within a month. On the plus side, the cougar is no longer a thing.


Man, i had a crap roleplaying period.

These aren't new problems, that can be assured. If I recall, Mars had a lil trouble managing the OP then again so are most things for mobile users, granted the OP has only gotten larger since then..

As I think I've said before, you can always ask a Mod to help seeing as we can modify posts, split/merge individual posts, switch authors, and not to mention know a thing or two about how the tags work. Just a matter on whom you ask, really

There's also other alternatives, that can be assured i.e like opening up a new thread dedicated for TA sheets and linking it with the actual RP

TA2: If only there was a mod or two in the RP. I would probably just do a seperate thread, request it to be locked if i could only edit that one post then link it or just rewrite the OP as needed.

TA2: I dunno Beta, don't you think that's a little much? And what will we do with the first three posts?

Dragon Age: Well maybe Mira won't have to say anything, maybe Ingrid will be able to convince Revas to let her live. Then Mira can [&@%!] him off again and we'll be back where we started.

DAR: Or i dump some points into cunning and reduce her dialogue by 90%.

DAR: I'm waiting for TSD's post before I make my next post. Since, yknow, she has to react to having her chest cut open. Not gon say what Revas may or may not do!

DAR: I will do what all mages do in Kirkwall and stab myself with a very long staff that somehow avoids killing me. O-O then preform blood magic and become a harvester for no reason and then i need to sleep as my mind is going all funny now and silly stuff happening.

And about the title of my First Act, I personally favor "Prelude to the Light".

TA2: @Dov: Well the obvious appeal to a new thread dedicated for the sheets, rather than a 'new' rp all together, really comes down to leveling much of the burden with managing it <_<

The DM can always add new posts if more space is needed, as opposed to reserving one or two like usual. There still is the trouble of tagging and mass edits, and of course the need to keep it relevant

@Union: The first three posts can be used however seen fit, either as an indept OP, a chance to introduce current DMs, synopsis/Act titles, rules, ect.

On the topic of whether a new thread is needed or too much. I can't really say, it's just one of the solutions I've suggested after all. As per whether one should? That's something to bring up between DMs & the Staff The option is always there, after all

TA2: The Darkscale shall do something! unless Shadow stabs me in the back for no reason other then to be Stabby Mcstabbington.

TA2: For now, I just reworked it with links. Niralie, Valentia, and Sinyail needed to be kept in their original form however, since they are the three remaining original members of the TA2 cast and thus there sheets were never actually posted outside the documentation post.

I still have the other sheets saved in a word document. If you think wise, I guess I can start another topic if it is ever needed.
