I was thinking of having a radical socialist connected to some underground socialist type organisation as my character over an elected member of parliment.

That would be unfortunate...

But anyway, some of the stuff I have already put up will be changed (example being JLL games shall be somewhat altered along with transport) and I'm going to add more stuff in future. So just don't treat what I've already put up as what it will be in the RP itself.

Depending on what plot you have planned you may want to have the corporation do rigorous background checks. As much as I may resent the restriction on character creation, I'm not enjoying the situation in Blacklight that myself and others are experiencing where it's midgame and I want to go on but my character does not. It can't be completely avoided, considering that based on their sheets you wouldn't have expected Jan and Richard to want to bail at any point, but it can be limited.

Yeah, I would suggest that you go with p-sto's idea. Blacklight really has got to the point where many want to leave and it would be a decent way to try to avoid it. But its your RP and do as you see fit, I'll join it anyway.

As I said, there won't be background checks. For one it makes no sense in the story and secondly I don't want to restrict people like that. You are free to make your own choices. Just keep motavation in mind while making a character. As long as it is a character who would do things like the 1st mission you'll be fine.

We should have a LOTR roleplay. Although i suspect one does not simply create a LOTR roleplay. 8)

We could have another Fallout Roleplay but set during the Brotherhood-NCR war. As well as a Star Wars one or a Dark Souls one. Although that would be a bit hard due to the lore being hidden.

I had a LOTR RP set in the First Age and Gideon had a LOTR RP set during the War of the Ring.

A Star Wars RP would be amazing. Especially if it was like a tabletop RPG. With dice rolls and stuff. Like Darths and Droids.

I've spent the last week reading through a [&@%!] of pages in a webcomic I found that contains a universe that would be perfect for an RP.

Shame I'm not available for working on it, because with the right work, it could be awesome. A bit based off of D&D, perhaps, but without dice and with so much confusion that I after probably more than 2000 pages still have no idea what's going on and who's telling the truth.

All I know is that the universe of that story is populated by utter twats.

We could have a Roleplay set aboard a battle frigate in the Star Wars unvierse or set as part of an entire fleet. It could be set during the Clone Wars or during a period of heavy space battles.

I know I really, really shouldn't post this because I have exams in school and Blacklight to look after (which should be back once I get home from my trip on Friday), but this is something I've been toying with:
Hidden:
2020- Lunar Colony founded
2025- Fighter class shuttles developed
2027- Policing between Earth and the Moon begins.
2030- Man lands on Mars
2035- Mars colony founded
2040- Destroyer class vessels designed
2042- Terrorist strikes on Mars
2045- UN aobolished, Earth Federation (EF) founded
2047- Huge terrorist attacks against EF on Mars
2050- Earth Federation Enforcer Corps (EFEC) set up to counter terrorists
2051-2151- Huge Advancements in general technology, Space Travel becomes an everyday occurence, Average Life expactancy increases to One Hundred years of age. Solar system colonised by man. Nanobots allow treatment of all but the most deadly of diseases. Pulse weaponry developed alongside prototype Hostile Enviroment Combat Armour (HECA) these are soon perfected and become standard issue amongst EFEC. Plasma technolgy research begins.
2152- Omega gene discovered by scientists
2154- 200 fourteen year olds disappear simultaneously across Earth
2155- Open rebellion against EF on Mars
2156- EF and EFEC personel publicly killed on Mars
2157- Mars war of Independence begins
2158- 10 million dead on both sides
2159- Rail and Plasma weaponry developed by EF. Dreadnought vessels being developed to end the Mars War of Independence.
2160- 80 of the remaining 200 Omega enhanced troops dropped on Mars
2161- Mars leaders assassinated by Omega troops
2162- Mars captures the Moon
2163- EFEC retakes the Moon
2165- Twin Dreadnoughts -Earth Federation Vessel London and EFV New York- are built
2166- Mars offered chance to surrender. Declined
2167- EFV London and New York arrive at Mars. Second offer of surrender sent. Declined
2168- Co-ordinated strikes from Omega troops and EFEC Enforcers leaves Olympus Mons the only Rebel stronghold. Third and final offer of surrender broadcasted. Declined.
2169- After months of siege from Destroyers,The London and The New York are ordered to bomb Mars. Olympus Mons leveled from the bombing.
2170- EF recaptures Mars. Every surviving member of the Mars independence movement executed. EFEC takes over as Military force.
2190- The Explorer vessel, EFV Pioneer launched (RP begins)

So far I've got three races roughly planned out -including humans- and a dozen or so worlds in my mind as I'm planning on this to be completely open world other than the very, very beginning. If this were to happen though, it wouldn't happen for a long time.

The universe of Fallout is harsh so a zombie outbreak would make what can be a very harsh life into something even harsher. It would be interesting to see how it affects the wastelanders and depending on the location, weapons may be scarce as it is. I would reccomend having the traditional slow walking zombies that can only be killed by removing the head or destroying the brain instead of the ones that do 0-60 within seconds. Or just a zombie outbreak one.

Justice, that sounds very interesting and i would join that.

I'm too inexperienced to make one! One does not simply make a roleplay without gaining experience by playing several roleplays. I suspect Etee wouldn't approve it if i did decide one as i've said, i'm too inexperienced.

Races
Humans- A young and brutish race, but they have a lot of potential. Humans are versatile and can adapt to most situations and environments. Humans can be violent or peaceful, great warriors or incredible diplomats, engineers or doctors. To put it shortly; a Human can do anything they want to. A typical Human lives to about one hundred with some living to an older age and some living to a younger one, however a Human's prime is between the ages of eighteen and fifty, after this their effectiveness and and efficiency begins to fade. Humans come in a variety of shapes and sizes with different colour hair, skin, eyes etc (if you're reading this to learn what a human looks like, you should invest in a mirror).
O'Sekra- Biologically, and physically very similar to Humans with a few minor differences. The O'Sekra are cold blooded and their eyes are always pitch black, they also boast an incredible metabolism, denser bone structure and speedy self regeneration. However an O'Sekra female can only ever give birth once in their entire lifetime of roughly one hundred and ten years. O'Sekra have a strong sense of discipline and almost one hundred percent of the male population serves in the Alliance Military, a handful of Females also serve. Despite their natural resilience, the O'Sekra often make war in advanced Battlesuits incorporating a dizzying amount of firepower and jump packs alongside a multitude of other features. All O'Sekran names contain "ee" while Male names begin with "T" and Female names begin with "K".
Heelox- Long limbed and insect like with six legs and four arms, Heelox are physically frail and weak but are incredible with technology and possess a natural psionic ability. The Heelox develop weaponry and battlesuits for the O'Sekra in return for protection and security. Heelox are generally a bluish tinge but other colours can be found. A female Heelox will normally lay a clutch of one hundred eggs every few years to counter act their short life span of only twenty earth years. A Male Heelox will always have an "X" in his name and Females will always contain a "Z".
Mecran- Huge and lumbering standing at roughly fourteen foot tall and boast tremendous fists the size of a Human male's torso. They are incredibly strong and brutish often resulting in them being a great problem for the Alliance of Aligned Worlds and their military. However, despite this they are often used as workers as their bodies are all but immune to poisons and they can still function in a vacuum. Mecran have a very tribal existence with the female being the dominant gender -though only a trained eye or a Mecran can tell a female and male apart. So violent is their nature that unless the female is restrained she will often kill the male during their breeding sessions. It is unknown how long they live for as no Mecran encountered has died of old age.

Well I have written a lot for my Universe, but it's mainly based around the Mars War of Independence.

I also sort of did a brief stint of it using Warhammer Models as proxys and it was fun while it lasted.
