Hidden:
Soulless Collections: The World and background.
Magics: There are two brands of magic:
Source which is silent and encompasses Altercate, Axceel, Vanishe, and Strente, but is only allowed to a selected bloodline, and can only be learned from Sourcers, some expert Sourcers somehow managed to make the magic expand to other schools.
Magyn is the more common magic brand used, it encompasses many many things, but require the user to speak (Could be a sentence, or could be a word) in order to work. Many people in the world are users of Magyn.
    The Schools of Magic:
    Altercate: Altering the properties of things around you, and yourself. Users are often classed into shape-shifters or area-changers.
  • Axceel: Controlling the speed of you and those around you, can be used to speed up your reflexes or slowing down those around you for a getaway, experienced users of Axceel would be able to seem like they are teleporting.
  • Vanishe: This involves the absence of an object, a sense or a sensation. People can turn completely invisible, unable to be tracked or heard with this magic.
  • Strente: This is the augmentation of your own physical being. This can be used to increase your jump distance or your strength.
  • Soomanic: This is the summoning of objects and beings, it also entitles to banishment, allowing people to use it as a form of magical storage. Some users can summon a shield then vanish it quickly to defend themselves (as an example).
  • Destre: This school uses force and the elements to harm and destroy objects. This can also be used to manipulate the elements and force.
  • Ruue: This magic is used to seal in magicks to be released at a later date, this magic seems to cover many of the schools, and this can be manifested in art or words and be used after being triggered by a word or touch.
  • Forturn: The magical manipulation of luck, it can be for the positive or the negative manipulation, a very difficult and unstable magic however.
  • Infese: This magic allows you to infuse an item, be it weapon, trinket or armour, with magic. The school of magic has to be known or given willingly by a accomplice.
    However there are some forbidden magics, there are practicers, but they are few and far between:
  • Scyncho: This magic allows you to tap into a targets body, emotion and mind, using their power and magic against them. The user however is at a risk of being over taken by the emotions and anything could happen. Scyncho can also link to people together or a person to an object, making them experience what the other does. This magic is forbidden under the rules of the Imperia.
  • Clonk: Clonk magic is incredibly strong, it allows you to control the age of any object around, and it is dangerous as it is useful. This is forbidden under the rules of the Imperia except in circumstances of war.
  • Sacrie: This magic requires great sacrifice in order to use, an emotion, a body part, a life. Usage of this magic is permanent, and very strong, as such the Imperia conducts interviews of those gifted with magic periodically to see if they are using this school.
  • Daeden: The use of the dead, bones and others to their will. This is a very unspoken off magic due to it being ignoble to use a fallen foe’s body. Not even the Imperia in war would lift this rule. Anyone found using Daeden were to be executed on sight.
World of the Soulless Collections

    Deities: There are said to be 101 gods, each governing over two spheres or more, These are some of the few that are wide spread and well known.
  • Kanz: Goddess of armour and knowledge. Often shown with a book in hand and shield by her side
  • Naed: God of assassins and roses and vines. Often called the sweet assassin.
  • Lepte: God of luck and magic (Governs over Forturn)
  • Aege: Goddess of Ageing and by extension death. Her worshippers are mostly users of Clonk. She is known as the forbidden goddess.
  • Sente: Goddess of the seas and brimstone and lava.
  • Peren: God of love and night. Twin brother of Derin. (One of the twin gods)
  • Derin: God of the dark and the light. Patron of demons and the supernatural realm. Twin brother of Peren (One of the twin gods)
  • Maline: Goddess of music and war, most worshippers honour her with blood, theirs or their enemies.
  • Kao: God of animals and nature and the giver of flame and fire.
Organisations:
The Split Corps:
A organisation that has a good reputation.. And a bad at the same time. The Split Corps are gifted knights, the captains have skill with seven ways of combat, and there are seven of them. Seven captains hold command over seven people within their company. They are called the Split Corps due to each captain taking command of a Deadly Sin and a Holy Virtue.
The Magyn Mastery:
A guild of magyn users, dedicated to cataloguing and storing what they know of the Magyn magicks, they are broken into three tiers:
Apprentice - has been with the Mastery for under two years or cannot control or produce any type of Magyn at will.
Adept - Has been with the Mastery for two to ten years, basic control over Magyn magicks, able to produce at will.
Advanced - been with the Mastery for more than ten years, expert control over Magyn magicks.
The Night Stars: A thief’s guild of sorts. Often called Peren's Chosen. Their network is said to span the entirety of the Imperia and parts of other countries, this is disputed by the guards and the noblemen, although they are said to lose things a lot.

You can choose to be anything you want, Only limits: No over powered ness and you must be in the Captial of the Imperia, Iandrye.
Source magics gets two slots, but you can sacrifice one of them for two Magyn magics. You run the chance of turning it into a source magic for your character.
Magyn has four slots, you are not limited. But Forbidden magic you must have a backstory as to why you have learned it.

You can be anything you want Velvet. You can use magic if you wish to augment your warrior.
You could be a assassin, a thief or anything else you wish.

It is steampunk. Few people use gaslamps now, even less would use them in the future.

Steampunk is all Industrial Revolution

Cyberpunk is all Futuristic.

The differences between the '-punk' genres is ultimately the progression of technology in the world it takes place in.

Dieselpunk, as seen in Bioshock, shows a society developed around the development of electricity and gasoline. Electricity exists, but it isn't to the super futuristic setting that Cyberpunk usually gets to.

Cyberpunk is highly developed. Steampunk usually doesn't have electricity invented yet; just steam power.

Question about Kerrs RP: Could I make a character that starts a left wing socialist democrat/communist (I haven't decided yet) politician in the MMA? Because if so I'm going to need more information on the political structure of the country, the parties etc.

You could but I'm not finished making the world yet. That thing I put up isn't the final draft and it doesn't mention the city the RP will be in. Anyway, politics. It would be a one house system. (So if there was no Seanad and only the Dail.) There would be two big parties, both right/centre-right liberals. The two big parties are essentially the same thing with a different name. They both support free market capitalism and are liberal on most social matters. This isn't to say they get along. One of them is in power by themselves. That party is also the one that the president belongs to. The third biggest party is center-left but has very little say, it is much smaller than the other two. They might try for a coalition but even then would get little done. Other parties are very small and more radical, generally speaking they don't get a say and nobody cares about them. All of the big 3 parties suffer from corruption, they basically just do what the megacorporations want. On a local scale people elect a mayor, the mayor is Rockpine (The city the RP is set in) is a member of the ruling party.

Iceland is home to parliament and the president along with other political institutions.

As a note, Black Sun aren't the only law enforcers. They are the police but government agents (Commonly called G-Men) do exist. However they act in a very small capacity and there aren't that many of them. Black Sun basically do everything with G-Men only stepping in to assist when they have to.

Also characters have to be people who are going to be doing the sort of stuff being done. The 1st mission is a bunch of freelancers being hired by the CEO of a megacorporation to save his son. So a sitting member of parliament would have no reason real to be there. However a young upstart calling for a revolution of the people might do. Just when you are making a character keep in mind what you are doing there and what you want out of it. Could be fun, money or helping people. Up to you really.
