There was a LotR style RP set on Tamriel a while back, but if you started a true grit Tolkien LotR RP, I'd seriously consider joining.

@VT: Your character could be a vault dweller. That way you wouldn't know much about the outside world.

I've spoken to mars about the idea for the Fallout RP. We would depart from the Eastern US to the now-defunct European Commonwealth. I don't know the details, however.

I was just thinking about a HP RPG!

You would be able to make a character and choose gender, age, height, weight, blood status, your wand, hair colour, you could choose an owl, cat or a toad, you could change your eye colour and you would have skills to choose, like in Oblivion. The tutorial would be in Diagon Alley and you would by potions ingredients, books and stuff. You would then be asked a list of questions like: "A man is lying, injured, on the floor. What would you do? Laugh at him, help him by dragging him over to an adult, walk by or try and do First-Aid?" If you picked the first one, then you are more likely to be in Slytherin, but if you chose the walk by option then you would more likely be sorted into Hufflepuff.

You would go to classes, do errands, eat, sleep and pull pranks. By doing jobs you would earn money, which you can spend at Diagon Alley during the holidays. You could by a broomstick, potions, invisibility cloak and new spells. As it is set during the Philosopher Stone-Deathly Hallows, you could either help or hinder Harry, Ron and Hermione. If you helped them and you weren't a muggle-born then in your last year you would fight against Snape's regime. If you hindered them then you would be able to become a mini-Death Eater, and you could hand out punishments.

No-one is allowed to do this without my permission! I'll make it tomorrow. I'll be DM!

I think you should give it a different timeframe, but a similar plot, like with The Demon of Knowledge compared to Oblivion.

This only stemmed from a possible RPG game that I thought about on the Harry Potter thread in the Multimedia section. I'll just edit a few bits 'n' pieces tomorrow!
