Cornelius just took a seat and grumbled. "Whoever's fault this is, you can bet I'm going to kill them. Killing unarmed civilians...Of all the cowardly..."

It was beginning to get dark, Hooper started talking, "I doubt the machines were set to kill unarmed civilians, usually the creators just make sure they kill something".

The lower deck was quite small, but rather packed with refugees crammed in against trade crates and barrels, there were only two windows and they both had gatling guns hanging out of them.

An old man approached Lucas, "That Hooper man is pretty damn arrogant ain't he?".

Jason leaned against the wall and looked out the window on the cockpit. He stood there for a moment before asking Hopper; "
Hey, do you know of a guy my the name of Landon McGuire?"

"Machines, creators, I'll kill 'em all. ...First, I need food. You have food on this tub, don't you?" The old soldier rubbed his bulging stomach.

Hooper paused for a second, "Landon McGuire? I've heard of him, how about I show you the ledger once Smalls finishes cleaning the deck? He can pilot and I can take you to my quarters", he raised his voice, "Hey Smalls, yer' dwarf prick! Get up here!".

Hooper looked to the old veteran again, "Food? Just go down to the lower deck, i'm sure the refugees would've banged open one of my supply crates by now, it would be my pleasure to let you take it up".

Yalun looked at Hooper. "Is there a place I can enjoy my book in peace?" He asked, he had his book hooked under his arm, his umbrella slung over his should and his cane in his other hand. "Cane or umbrella?"

"...Nice ship." Cornelius huffed as he went to the lower deck to get some food.

And the hunter finally finds a trace of his prey... Jason thought, he had an urge to say this out load. He crossed his arms and stared at the sky. It's been years since his last kill, after Bobby the others disappeared without a trace; untill now.

Cornelius got see an unspoiled corn on the cob, sitting on a table right in front of him, he could steal it, or ask the man who was currently not looking at it who was intent on eating the corn.

"Place to read your book? You're in the air my son, and you want to read a book? Enjoy the sights! But i,m sure you could read right at the front of the ship, not many people there, and two torches to light your read", Hooper paused to answer Yalun's question, "I don't follow".

Yalun smiled. He shook his head. "Never mind." He said, looking at his cane and then the umbrella. He wondered if he could merge them together. "I am a simple entertainer." He stated simply to Hooper, walking off to the front of the ship, enjoying the sights as he went.

Cornelius drew his greatsword, but his intent was not to intimidate or steal. He held it above the corn, and looked at the man. "Want to split it?" He had a wry grin on his face.

Smalls, stubby even for a dwarf, waddled into the room that housed the wheel, "I'll take the wheel until Arvel, sir", he offered a small salute, then snatched the wheel away from Hooper, to which the Captain laughed at, "You're a bit eager".

Hooper walked outside and walked downstairs to the lower deck, he quickly prompted Jason to follow him, "C'mon". He then continued through the lower deck hall to a back-room, to which he opened the door and allowed Jason to enter.

The room was tiny, approximately three by four metres. In one corner was a small bed, in the other a stool. He pulled the stool up to a table which sat at the end of his bed, the table was covered in large books, all open, ready for Hooper at all times, "The name is fresh in my mind, so only check the last month or two, any further back and I wouldn't have had a clue".

Smalls fiddled to and fro with the wheel, "I love this ship, the human is a pain, but it wouldn't be the same without him".

The man quickly turned around, "Yeah, sure, i'm not too hungry anyway".

Jason nodded and approached the desk, he grabbed one of the books and began searching for the name: "Landon McGuire".

Jason found the name, third page, the fifteenth line, two weeks ago...





It was slowly getting brighter, the nighttime sail was uninterrupted as the clipper slowly approached Arvel, which was a small view on the horizon. The ship was about ten metres of the green grassed plains below as the ship was preparing to dock.

With the tiniest motion and effort, Cornelius chopped the corn in half, put his greatsword on his back, and started chomping away at his half.

Hooper was standing wide eyed at the steering wheel.

Ben looked down at Arvel as the clipper approached, the journey was over. It'll be hard to blend in here He thought to himself looking down at the stone caverns I'll just have to leave town, head north to the Dwarves towns maybe, no one will recognise me there

Vex walked up to the top deck with a yawn. A rest was what she needed after such a shocking ordeal.

"Where are we?" she asked no one in particular.

Jason took the book and kept it open on the right page, he made his way to Hopper and shown him the book; "Right here." He pointed at the name; "Now, where did you take him?"

Hooper was gaping at Arvel as the ship began to cross the gap that separated Arvel from the mainland , "This is Arvel, miss", he paused to think, "If I remember, I think it was Kimmit, can't remember what port mind".

Yalun yawned himself, he stayed up all night reading the book. He was slumped against the bow of the ship. "Wha.. Curse you sunlight." He hissed.

Vex nodded and trotted over to the side of the airship's deck, admiring the city. "I've never been to Arvel before. What is it like?"

Jason frowned and rubbed his brow. He looked at Arvel and swore; "If only he was Arvel." He was thinking wether to go to Kimmit or stay in Arvel, and get some of that robot invasion [&@%!] explained.

"Arvel? Built inside a large pillar jutting out of the sea, quite underpopulated now to be honest, doesn't have an official ruler, but my Uncle is looked upon quite highly he, he lives in the windmill", Hooper pointed out the large rotating windmill that was perched on the top of the pillar as the grew closer to the dock that was hanging off the side of the pillar.
